Breaking News...Fifth Gate

I'm going to a corner of the room and have a nervous breakdown.... BRB

You and me both.

At least your monorail expansion threads have more basis, by about 1000%, than this nonsensical 5th Gate thread. You should really consider dropping this 5th Gate subject before you drive yourself (and others) completely nuts over it.

You're looking at satellite imagery of an area of central Florida swampland that has looked EXACTLY the same for at least 20 years. There is an area of cleared trees with some sandy paths meandering through it. Probably dirt bike or 4-wheeler trails from many years ago. There are a few other areas on property that have similar "hidden" trails like this.

Your one photo of a possible 30 year old monorail pylon footing is better evidence of an intended monorail expansion than anything in this thread is of a new theme park.

There flat out is NO physical work taking place on a new park. There is absolutely no news to report. There's not even a rumor to discuss. Everything related to this supposed park has been imagined by you - wanting to see more than is really there.

I suggest you focus on your monorail project. While not likely to go anywhere, at least there is actual evidence to back up your claims that Disney HAS (long ago) considered a broader transportation plan.

Disruptive to guests? Having to bring cranes in to lift the switxching beams into place would be fairly disruptive.
Can someone here who knows about this please jump in and help me? I know there are people here that do because that's where I got most of my information from! Please, please, relieve me from from all this weight I'm carrying!

Sage advice.

Look at the close up pictures (of the 20) of the site I posted yesterday.

I have, and there is nothing in those pictures that looks like active construction of a theme park. If you are going to build something like this the first thing you do is clear the land, and there are nothing there that looks like it was intentionally cleared. Compare the area I pointed out in an earlier post that was cleared as part of the Flamingo Crossings project, to the other area and you can see the difference between land that was intentionally cleared and just natural clearing.

Go back to the last message I posted here on this thread last night. I said basically that I was probably seeing things that weren't there, hoping it would put this thread out of its misery, but we're still here. Making it worse, we're talking about monorails here, not where we should be talking about it.

Thank you! You've vindicated me at least in the monorail subject. I'm trying to kill this thread but its not dying and monorail jumped ship over here for some strange X-Files-like reason.

The sound of the concrete trucks I guess is loud. You guys are slaves drivers! I'm going to have to go back and find the source of where that was quoted from. I believe it was Card Walker who said that but probably someone else of importance within the company from that time period.
Concrete trucks are not that loud.

Past decade? Same premises? My posts? You've read my posts going back to 2003?

No, but I can do a search with "monorail" in the thread title, and you as the author. With this new software, only Google might turn up results faster...

I'm interested in what you'll find. You know, I talk about other things too? Lol

Search threads- "monorail"- PeterAlt. Help yourself.

And if you're so anxious for this thread to die, perhaps dropping the nighttime park concept would help you achieve that goal....

Not if I'm right. But I will drop it (unless I find something).
