Sorry but the burden of proof falls on you to prove your facts...not on us doing the research to collaborate your facts.

OK...I'm leaving again! :D
We're keeping the footer debate here because its a disorderly argument that better served in a disorderly thread. Let's not spoil the other thread with this nonsense.

That said, I already stated that I'm firmly convinced by all the evidence. More evidence is nice, but hard to come by. I am satisfied without a shadow of a doubt in the same way that Obama was 100% certain they had found Bin Ladan the night of the raid, against the recommendation of his entire cabinet who still needed more evidence. Finding that quote I mentioned is like looking for a needle in a hey stack, I what I read. Yes, the people who said this could have been misinformed, as anything is possible, but I trust it as I see no motive for inventing it.

Yes, maybe I will go searching for it, but I feel I have spent way too much time on this. I got the evidence I needed to my satisfaction. So, the only reason for me to do this is for the convincing of others. I may get an adrenaline rush and do that research later, but now I'm tired and un-motivated. At this point, I am beginning to care less what others think it is. I convinced myself that it is what it is and find the evidence irrefutable. If others don't, I'm okay with it.

The important thing is there are people within Disney who really know for sure. It is such a small element of the plan I posted on the other thread and is flexible enough to serve efficiently with or with that element. The plan's focal point is my DHS Intermodal Center, not the EPCOT easterly spur. I've included that component as an independent feature that could add a hotel, convention facilities, and retail to the system on vacant developable land which is east of Future World. The monorail does not dependent on it in any way, shape, or form, but its a value-added feature that may generate additional revenue.

To put simply, if the footer is there, the plan simply points out what Disney could do with, and it would be a nice value-added touch to an already cool proposal. If it doesn't exists, the plan without that element would still be a good plan. We leave it in the plan just in case it's there. No harm done if it's not and that portion of the plan is eliminated. No harm done.

Could a CM head backstage east at FW and take a close-up photo of this dang thing? Then us construction people can it and rule accordingly.

Martin said earlier in the thread that he would see what he could do.

Can you please summarize you evidence?

I have searched the net about the monorail footers and I found a few message board posts throughout the years saying that footers were built, but it's hard to determine the credibility of the information. I would be more apt to belive this if there was more solid evidence then just the planned route of the line passing over a single retangle of concrete backstage.

They don't need to build a 5th park right now because they have so much work to do on the current 4, mostly DHS and DAK......and both MK and epcot needs work. The only way I think they even consider currently putting a 5th park in is if Universal gets the rights to the tokien stuff and opens a 3rd park based on middle earth instead of just adding it as a different land. In that case I think disney might and I do mean might consider putting in a star wars based park in. I know most everyone on here (including myself) feels that disney will just opt to add a star wars land eventually to DHS. However as some people have stated in other posts and topics that there is not enough star wars to do an entire park, I disagree with that point. Going off just the 6 movies and the clone wars series and whatever comes out of the new movies there are plenty of planets that they could build lands with attractions/shops/restaurants to make up an entire park that if done right could easily rival if not beat a similar middle earth park from universal. I don't think they will build a 5th park, but if UNI gets middle earth and actully builds a park based on it then I could see disney considering it

If UNI builds Middle Earth I probably won't care what Disney builds....

Isn't middle earth dead since the family did not sell to Universal?

I am no expert or anything and I heard that the estate said no and killed the idea, but I have also heard that the UNI is still pushing for it and the family is still listening.....so I don't know, my point was that if it happened then thats the only way I could see disney going for a 5th park

If you search my main monorail thread from months ago, I believe it was some users from here that directed me to that information. Also, there is a post in monorail Q&A's here from a retired monorail operator. Read that too.

Use "disruptive to guests" and "monorail" as keywords to search by.

I think what you see in that footer is simply a placeholder for the pylon beam. That is merely guess work on my part.
