The last I heard was a UK attraction should still happen. Though I admit that was before a conversation I had last week about revaluation of capex.

Geeze, doesn't Disney realize that they are about a decade behind where they need to be from a capex perspective? The last I heard was a UK attraction should still happen. Though I admit that was before a conversation I had last week about revaluation of capex.
Alright, I have to ask...capex?The last I heard was a UK attraction should still happen. Though I admit that was before a conversation I had last week about revaluation of capex.

Unfortunately, people don't like taking 'risks' no matter how safe it'd be for Disney. It's easier for them to spend less and increase their profit margins than build new stuff to increase cash flow.Disney has been printing money on almost All fronts and the best division has been parks and resorts... you’d think they’d want to go crazy upgrading the parks. Give people a reason to stay just one more day...

They know they don't have to because they can do nothing, raise prices and people still come because it's "Disney". They blow this message that YOU HAVE TO VISIT DISNEY! and when people come they spend bank, especially those people who go for their first visit.Disney has been printing money on almost All fronts and the best division has been parks and resorts... you’d think they’d want to go crazy upgrading the parks. Should we start fearing that what happened to the Coco attraction might happen as well to the UK attraction?
Oh, it was higher than that. Almost a dead cert. Almost. That coco thing never existed?...at least not beyond the "conceptual smoke" level...
It didn't pass the sniff test...the sniff test is right about 90% of the time...rumors come in below that average

Thing is, that will work for a while, but long term it will cause problems for Disney. They know they don't have to because they can do nothing, raise prices and people still come because it's "Disney". The thing is, one could argue that the acquisitions were forward thinking investments. The parks, not so much......that's a leadership thing...none of these board/exec mercenaries care at all about that...
As Dylan would say "The Disney...is a changin'"
