So why would Disney favor Brazil? Or any country? World Showcase is so strange.
Well if this is true, Disney would be correct to bring in fictional lands. Plays to their strength.
Might even inspire or provide a vehicle for new franchises!
“Brazil” isn’t paying. Private corporations are.

Yeah , the government wouldn't be paying for it. With how everything with bolsonaro is going, they wouldn't. It is a private sponsor that is working with disney.
Don't get me wrong, us Brazilians LOVE Disney and we went crazy when the são Paulo newspaper printed Brazil was in talks with Disney for epcot in 2011, but right now....it's a sponsor.

It could be Duty Free Americas and not Dufry... not sure. I heard from a friend of a friend who is supposedy working on the pavillion construction.

The dates indicated when this person was working on the project. Their specialty was in artistic design, so, they were involved in the early part of the project.
