Morning All,
So it has become official... my roommates found a new roommate to take over my room come September 1st; so I will be moving home.
I'm actually applying for jobs in Orlando and in Raleigh... actually gonna stop talking about it and just put in motion doing something about wanting to move down South... Going to see if there are any actual opportunities down there for me.

We're good. Trying to pay for our bills and get ready for our trip next month to Delaware for my sisters wedding. Like everyone else, we never have enough money for everything.

yep I know that one. We (my 2 sisters, our daughters, and our mom) are going to Port Aransas next Thursday and coming back Sunday. :sohappy: Can't wait but the cost. :zipit: There is going to be 10 of us.

I finished the last one I was reading and the Nanny Diaries now I am starting on Dead Until Dark (the True Blood book) and I have the Thirteenth Tale on order with BN. (One of my old friends works there and he ordered it for me since they didn't have it in stock.) And somewhere in all that I have to read Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince before the movie comes out.
I gave Time Traveller's Wife to another friend to read and she loves it! And my paperback copy of Twilight is now on its 6th reader (and is practically falling apart).
I have a big stack still after all that to read [Lovely Bones, Love in the Time of Cholera, rest of the Harry Potter books, the Host and I feel like there's more I am forgetting sitting on my desk...]

Good Luck to you Joe! I was reading yesterday on MSNBC that several southern states (KY not one of them
) are projected to come out of the recession sooner rather than later in 2009 so hopefully there will be lots in the market for you. I am still looking at probably 27 or 28 before I can move back to Florida and who knows what will happen in the meantime :dazzle:.

Wow...Joe...that's great. Good luck applying for jobs in Florida though...WHF has been trying (not hard but trying) for like a year and has heard nothing back. Actually when he did hear something was when he put our neighbor's son's address down, which is a Florida address...he got 2 calls. When asked which is his permenant address and he said the st. Louis one...they said...sorry, can't help you and that was that. It is really not easy to get a job in Florida when you live in another state. Just a warning. (Watch, you'll get one, no problem. :lol: )

100% true! That's happened to me too! When I moved down I had almost a month before my job started and I wanted to find some part time work to do in the meantime. With my KY address I got NOTHING back. Someone tipped me off about the address and I had my apartment complex, I moved to, give me my mailbox a few weeks early so I could use that address and I found something very soon after (of course that was in 2002.)

I am doing fine...wish I could go outside by the pool and relax...but with the weather today...so not happening. :lol:
And isn't that crap...how if you live out of state and try to apply for a job in Florida...you don't get taken seriously at all. How does someone who legit has to or REALLY wants to move down to Fl get a job then? Without outright lying...which they'll find out later isn't true anyway...or actually moving to Florida with no job...which of course, isn't the best option in any time.
