How are you my Dottie? I have missed you so!

I'm fine. Nothing new or exciting. Except the warm season is here and I'm a happy camper!
I read your late payment woes story today.
Bah.
All such lenders count on us being late or missing a payment. It's how they make even more money off us. I read that they orchestrate things to make us late on purpose, such as sending bills late and changing P.O. Boxes to locations further away, so that payments have to arrive late. We have to be soooo careful...

They change due dates too, or have your payment due on a Sunday, so they can take their time processing it, then call it late. I swear they all should be shot!!!!

Hi Nibbs - sorry I couldn't stay and talk earlier this evening - you sounded pretty flustered.

That's ok. You gave me some good advice, for the next time...although I hope there is no next time.

Yeah...lenders are the lowest of the low. And I believe it when they want us to be late with a payment.

Example...with this payment fiasco, can you believe it's free to make a payment by mail, but it costs a $15 finance fee to make it by phone or online. Completely rediculous! I am so angry about the whole thing.

Oh and I looked at the date that letter had on it...there's no way they sent that letter out as soon as I missed the payment (which was on the 7th of last month.) She lied about that because my letter says that it was written on the 24th of this last month. So, they wanted to make me have to pay the extra fee...they did orchestrate it so I had to. Because if they had sent me the letter sooner, I would have gotten the missed payment to them on time and wouldn't have had to pay by phone today.

It's all such a racket and I'm for damn sure I'm making my payment on time to them for the rest of the time I owe them! They won't see anymore of my money in late fees and payment surchcharges.

:wave:Good evening everyone.

I stopped into the travel office near my work and they had a pamphlet for Disneyland, which I thought I would grab to read on my lunch break. I got a closer look to see that Disney was advertising for its 45th Birthday celebration!? :hammer:I take it the travel office hasn't updated their information in 10 years.

Maybe they're a time-travel agency!

A real racket. They wait till the last possible second to get you on the phone and push for that phone payment. They scare you into it and make a bundle. It sucks.

Oh, you must.
Our pool was open the past two weekends and opens this weekend for the summer season. It's been heaven.

It's still a little cold here for pooling - the nights have been downright chilly!

Actually, our weather has been chillier than usual lately, but we've been l u c king out over the past two weekends with really perfect pool weather. Hope that keeps up all summer!

I like my pool water uber warm - I usually have to wait 'til mid-August....
