CNN has a picture of the house from earlier and you can see the boat. It's in the corner of the backyard next to a fence.

Yeah, they are positioning choppers to light up the boat, and getting capture units in position...taking their time.

A while ago the order went out repeatedly to use non-lethal force.

That's just terrible, IMO. They have more important stuff to worry about than media trying to sneak a peek.

It's a huge concern, and the media needs to back off and let them do their job.

They are very concerned about quarantining the situation right now, as they should be.

A reporter who is close to the scene (was there before it was on lockdown) said that he heard loud talking/yelling. He believes they are trying to talk to the suspect. Him and the rest of the media are being pushed farther back now, though

Yeah, doesn't sound like it's relating to the scene now. And they just said "traffic ________" so I assume they got the problem solved.

I think they've locked down their communications now...but there are too many radios...when (if) they move, you'll hear activity as units communicate. The FBI is taking this over, I suspect, and moving everyone directly involved onto encrypted digital units.

So as far as we know, they haven't made a move on him yet. Right?

No, no move. Unless he does something (which, he won't, I don't think...but you can't tell), then I suspect it will be at least an hour or more before something happens. They won't do anything without a bird in the sky, and it's on it's way for a radio refit and refuel.

Also, they are already asking units on patrol to work later, and adjusting shifts.

I remember back to the Chris Dorner case where they had him surrounded, and it was a couple of hours I believe until they made any move (lit the cabin on fire). I don't expect any different here.

While executing a search warrant, police took three people into custody for questioning. They are believed to have been connected somehow to the suspect who is still alive.
