Yep and most of us here see Iger for what he is.Remember when cast members were crying and people were chanting Iger's name on Main Street like he was the savior? Good times.
Some fail to recall during the 2009 layoffs where many levels of management and office / project staff were laid off, Iger was in charge.Remember when cast members were crying and people were chanting Iger's name on Main Street like he was the savior? Good times.

"Bob, you have been the most impressive and celebrated CEO in the history of The Bob Iger Company (former The Walt Disney Company). How long have you been CEO now?"
Pretty much my exact thoughts. Everyone with eyes and ears know that bobby saw the writing on the wall in ‘19 and phased himself out to look better. Chapek was pretty bad at the job, but many of us can understand he was dealt a horrible hand. He just didn’t do anything to improve it. The only people who actually think iger is better are:Yep and most of us here see Iger for what he is.
Chapek was bad, but also hand picked by Iger. Iger set him up, left when he knew it was going to get bad, came back after chapek is sent packing, some pixie dusters and cast members go nuts and cry happy tears thinking Disney is saved, and now iger can throw Chapek under the bus for all the stupid things Iger setup and/or had in the works before he left. Brilliant…until it catches back up to him.
“We respect and value the input of all our shareholders and we appreciate the decision by Trian Fund announced by Nelson Peltz this morning.
This is a moment of great opportunity for The Walt Disney Company, as we recommit to our historic 100-year legacy of unrivaled creativity and a future of sustained growth and profitability. We are pleased that our Board and management can remain focused without the distraction of a proxy contest, and we have tremendous faith in Bob Iger’s leadership and the transformative vision for Disney’s future he set forth yesterday.
We will continue to engage with all our shareholders, and we look forward to our upcoming annual meeting on April 3, 2023. All shareholders of record as of the close of business February 8, 2023 are entitled to vote at the meeting.”

The hyperbole in the slides posted above by Penguin illustrates they don’t have any intention in restoring value or customer satisfaction. They’re trying to appease shareholders (many of whom are as clueless about the legacy of the parks as management is) whilst rolling back on carefully selected items that are of little or no expense to the bottom line in an attempt to say “we’re listening”.
