What more do you need? haha. We are spoiled in the NYC area.I live in the forest. I don't have "many" of anything. My town has a CVS, a gas station, and a Dunkin' Donuts.

Too spoiled, if I wanted cuisine from countries from Central , South America, the Far East, and Caribbean , I'd just go to Queens. What more do you need? haha. We are spoiled in the NYC area.
I have those things...and TWO Dollar Generals.I live in the forest. I don't have "many" of anything. My town has a CVS, a gas station, and a Dunkin' Donuts.
Yeah but I can't see my neighbors. What more do you need? haha. We are spoiled in the NYC area.
PricelessYeah but I can't see my neighbors.
My wife had the BBQ Burger:Personally I prefer a cut or two of pig with my ground beef thank you (bacon, pulled pork, pork belly, etc.)
Yup I’d get that one.My wife had the BBQ Burger:
"Our Signature-blend of Beef and House-made Seasoning served on a Brioche Bun topped with 9-hour Smoked Pork, Bourbon-Bacon Jam, Cheddar, Lettuce, and Barbecue Sauce"
Growing up north of the city, we had 2 acres, so it was woods in the backyard. Now, I live in a more populated area. There's good and bad with isolation... food selection is one.Yeah but I can't see my neighbors.
That's a good value. The last time I was in NYC, I was charged $13 for two street tacos and a coke.
Turkey leg in the parks was $13.75 this past week. I think it used to be $5?The last time I was in NYC, I was charged $13 for two street tacos and a coke. As a human being, that’s ridiculous, but as an Angeleno, that’s a crime. Never again.
LOL.That's a good value.
Excuse me??? Wow. It doesn’t help that I don’t enjoy those turkey legs. There’s way too much meat and they’re salty. I start gagging after a few bites.Turkey leg in the parks was $13.75 this past week. I think it used to be $5?
Bird flu wiped out a bunch of the flock and you are just a bit beyond Thanksgiving. Doesn't excuse robbery but that is how they think, supply linesTurkey leg in the parks was $13.75 this past week. I think it used to be $5?
Yup. Disney on a budget does not exist.LOL.

I think it is possible, but it would require folks to compromise. I’m based on the west coast. I will leave the parks and go to In-N-Out or even McDonald’s before I eat any of the burgers on-site. Then again, Disneyland’s quick service is not exactly the same as WDW’s, so there’s that. With that being said, when I went to MK in May, I had chicken tenders and fries and I enjoyed the food. Was it the best tenders and fries I’ve ever had? No, but it was still good enough to eat. My only complaint about that meal was the water.Yup. Disney on a budget does not exist.

I mean, anything is possible, but it would probably take 2 hours for a family to exit the park, go to their own car (not Disney buses/Monorail), drive their own car outside of WDW, eat at McDonald's, pack back up, come back in, go through security/ticketing, and be back for whatever they wanted to do. That's not likely for the average guest. Or they go back to their hotel and each lunch/use the pool, but that is taking away a lot of hours of park time.I think it is possible, but it would require folks to compromise. DLR is a lot easier, since you can walk to off-site hotels.
There are def less expensive options in the parks, but when you think about the ticket, hotel, food, souvenirs, etc., it's a ton (and I'm just going with 2 people total).
Depends on where you start from, I could leave AK and run to 192 and back in 30 - 45 minutes. Stay outside the lunch rush and if you take it to go it would be even less time.I mean, anything is possible, but it would probably take 2 hours for a family to exit the park, go to their own car (not Disney buses/Monorail), drive their own car outside of WDW, eat at McDonald's, pack back up, come back in, go through security/ticketing, and be back for whatever they wanted to do.
