Well thanks anyway. I was hoping for something unique. Nonetheless I'm looking forward to a beautiful park.
You're telling me that a Star Wars themed section of a park wouldn't be unique?

If you hear old interviews with Lucas, he always refers to Pixar as his company.
And it was under the creative leadership of a man long obsessed with Disney who was given the boot from the animation studio.
No I'm talking about a broader park concept much like how MGM was a working studio and many rides aimed at demonstrating movie making. I was hoping it would be more cohesive than areas for specific IPs. I'm sure Star Wars will be unique and wonderful.
Sorry for having fun
Plus they need to share that stupid ladder.more rockwork, more man-hours... 'everything costs more and takes longer than estimated'
Those origins don't relate all that much to what the company became. The focus shifted and the notion of what Pixar is in the popular consciousness is the film studio, not the hardware or software businesses of its origin.I am not debating what Lasseter did for PIXAR. That is not the debate. I am pointing out that PD is quoting misinformation about the creation of PIXAR. That's all.
PhotoDave siad it was only different by name only (from Disney). Sorry, that is not true. lol
PIXAR even talks about it on their own site (as I previously linked): http://www.pixar.com/about/Our-Story
Eh. I like Islands of Adenture. I'm sure the new DHS will get my money too.
Here that variety of 'fun' usually includes the use of edged and projectile weapons, police and ambulances, Fun for small values of fun.

Hey, Grand Theft Auto night isn't until Thursdays!
Yeah, but this is coming from the same guy who came up with Jar-Jar Binks.....
@PhotoDave219 any hints of what come in the way of Star Wars land? The good thing about AvatarLand coming first is when Disney hits a home run with that land - they will have to top it with an over the top SW land. Hopefully Zsolt Hormay will stay on for the next project.

@flyerjab Looks like you'll be back down at WDW again you lucky duckJust look back at Martin's posts starting at page 93. He mentions it won't be too long until some of this comes out. I am thinking D23, and that is already within 2 months!
