I think WDI should take some ideas from the canceled park WestCot as maybe idea to help upgrade the areas and make them more attractive looking. Also some of the old ride concepts should definitely make a return like the Japan pavilion Mt. Fuji coaster would be awesome along with new countries like South Africa, Australia, Iran, Russia and maybe a Caribbean nation.

(Old Epcot concept for Russia is so awesome looking)

(Would attract a ton of more guests to this area)
I'd just be happy with a turn table show in the actual show building in Japan, like it was intended (Meet the world). Fleshing out the pavilions would be incredible, like how they are with France (and possibly UK). I'll take expansions over replacements any day of the week.

Would Mt. Fugi even work today with Hollywood Studios being so close to Epcot (sightline issues, maybe)?

Don't worry. This totally authentic 1980's tubular Polaroid photo shows that Star Lord visited EPCOT Center as a kid, so it fits.

A Mt. Fuji ride would have been in the back part of Japan's pad. But that is occupied right now by stores and restaurants.

The back part and unused show building can always be reconfigured, nothing has changed back there (the small store portion in the very back can be reconfigured as well), restaurant changes have happened on one side and not towards the back. If they wanted to do it they still could.

Still can't get over that new Guardians building.

Does anyone have a picture of this from the parking lot? From what I've seen it seems like it'd be pretty hideous at the entrance of Epcot like you'd say, "OH, look at that huge warehouse! I think that's Guardians of the Galaxy!!," and then you'd notice SSE and say, "Oh, and there's the giant golf ball!" It seems like it'd detract from SSE and the entrance, in general, based on it's location and size.

We were visiting Disney last week (stayed at Beach) and I can confirm the guardian building is as large as space ship earth when looking across the lagoon from world showcase. Never saw it from the front.

I don’t have any pictures from the parking lot, but these pictures I just took last Friday/Saturday!

I have the solution!

Disney EPCOT Sports World!!

Each pavilion will be dedicated to a different sport, and redesigned to resemble a sports object. The GotG building will eventually look like a golf club, so it will go along with Spaceship Earth (aka. The giant golf ball). Test Track will become a giant frisbee. WoL becomes a soccer ball.

What could be more timeless, more family, more classic, or more Disney?! Imagine the synergies!!! (Edit: Fixed a typo)
