I don’t have any pictures from the parking lot, but these pictures I just took last Friday/Saturday!

I found a video of the construction from the parking lot and, while it's currently quite obvious, I think it'll likely be fine once they get it done with paint. I really don't notice Soarin' in the background while I'm there and that's a huge building.

Does anyone have a picture of this from the parking lot? From what I've seen it seems like it'd be pretty hideous at the entrance of Epcot like you'd say, "OH, look at that huge warehouse! I think that's Guardians of the Galaxy!!," and then you'd notice SSE and say, "Oh, and there's the giant golf ball!" It seems like it'd detract from SSE and the entrance, in general, based on it's location and size.

Thanks. From the parking lot, that is distracting / does take away from SSE. If it wasn't just a huge box it'd be OK, or even great, like Space Mountain at MK.

The back part and unused show building can always be reconfigured, nothing has changed back there (the small store portion in the very back can be reconfigured as well), restaurant changes have happened on one side and not towards the back. If they wanted to do it they still could.

Basically the entire back half of the Japan pavilion. The part past where you walk through the "gate". There was nothing ever there but it was originally meant to have a CoP type show called "Meet the world". They ended up building a version of it in Tokyo. Blueprints are out there of how it would've been built in Epcot. It would've been on the second floor if I remember right with stairs that lead down to Tokyo tourism stuff. The show building has been storage but could still be cleared out if they ever wanted to put something in it.

Someone on here should be able to link or post the designs. I don't have them on hand.
