Maybe the work again when they dry out?

Most were on, but they weren't changing color. It was just a static, multi-color display. I thought it was "b" mode in the Epcot rings colors. But, the circles weren't complete in a single color. Some where, but many were just set on one color (that didn't necessarily relate to the other colors around it). While kinda cool, not that impressive - especially if you know what it's supposed to do. The towers were syncing to SSE.

oh, it will be interesting after this weekend with that massive storm approaching
If we don't lose any more segments in the EPCOT lights as a result of the storm, then the pressure washer excuse "holds water" 😄

If we lose more segments from the storm, then the pressure washer excuse is BS.

Not if the power washer compromised the seals. Then Billy spilling a drink could set Walt on fire.
My thinking was, the seals that were compromised are already bad.

Any new failures are not from the alleged pressure wash in my opinion.

But I bet Disney will get a lot of mileage out of the pressure washer story...

We just have to hope there isn’t open gaps in the covering, as there was one last night.

Disney has an undisputed and proven record of shutting down effects that are costly to maintain or unreliable in use. Most recently they did that in the queue of the new TRON attraction. Most famously they did that with the Yeti. You seem to ignore this and just say they won’t do any of that, take my word for it.

Sorry but no.

That is not what is happening with the tron queue.
and just like I said, the Tron queue has returned to normal.

I saw this area in person finally and it's just stunning, both in the daytime and at night. I just wish they could toss out the PhotoPass CMs clogging up the area and the annoying Jammitors who ruin the ambiance with their racket. This spot is a great place to sip on a beer and people watch. Call me Bob's Boussom Buddy, but what they are doing & have done at Epcot is absolutely remarkable.

I wouldn’t say hideous, but I wouldn’t want to be the neighbors directly across the street…
I'm guessing they didn't do the show often. And I guess some think a residential show (from 8 years ago) that completely blows away what Disney is doing at a theme park today is hideous. You really can only lead people to water but can't make them drink.
