I’m
You have no idea what you’re talking about. I deal with commercial electrical equipment on this scale. No company will provide warranty coverage for accidental water damage. I’ve had switch gear destroyed by accidental water damage (broken water pipe) and the customer had to deal with the replacement equipment and labor costs. Infact our warranty letter boilerplate to customers specifically singles out accidental damage as not covered.

Water damage is a pervasive problem that only gets worse over time. The smart course of action is to tear it all out and replace it.
Cool?

I’m going by my experiences in the entertainment industry. But I figure it depends on who you would rather sign your soul too….

Nothing really worth the investment this was. Guest impact minimal. Furthering EPCOT and AK being parks that will easily be bypassed for more days/nights at Universal's properties.

Sooo...

Early reviews from in park guests are apparently the strongest Epcot has enjoyed in many years. I suspect the show designers will be toasting the New Year once they finish working through expected early bugs.

Also, according to the show, World Showcase has 12 pavilions. Who cares if one sells hotdogs and not much else?! Karibuni!

Give it a Lion King spinner and we are good.

I've also heard that GSAT numbers are looking very good. I think Luminous has earned it's place on the lagoon. It just has to be maintained.

On a side note, I'm gonna bring my mic tonight, hopefully I can get a good recording of the show audio.

Apart from Luminous, how are the GSATs for the new Hub?

I would respectfully disagree with this. Assuming they get the lights working again, I can see guests very much staying at Epcot to experience the lights in the garden after dark, especially with the shows on Spaceship Earth.
Don't underestimate the power of a great lighting package/show.

I think Epcot will once again be an evening destination.

PhotoPass photographers have now setup in front of Walt. Good luck getting a photo of just him but I managed to squeeze one in.

That would require them to stop closing up at 9:00 pm or 9:30 pm most of the year.
Be thankful it closes at 9, Islands of Adventure is arguably one of the nicest nighttime theme parks and we're seeing consistent 7PM closures now lol

Either way, they really don't clear Epcot until like 90 minutes post-fireworks... so you have more than enough time to enjoy the gardens/world showcase.

Why people are so impressed with these lights is beyond me. I'm just going to leave this here.

I'm actually not a fan of those at all. I know most are, but not myself.

The light show at Epcot is only one component. The entire atmosphere at night is enhanced now with this new area. I'm also including Journey of Water in that too. We will be specifically trying to see that at night. Plus the new fireworks show.
