EPCOT Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

Ok the music is pretty good I’ll give them that one and I absolutely love the landscapes but it still needs a water feature, that music would go so well with the sound of water. I don’t care what fountain it is or how big it is it needs a water feature.

I believe that bypass is being removed from general guest use.

@tparris BTW, I didn't see it in any of the pictures but may have missed it—did you catch a glimpse of what's going on behind Dreamers Point? Is it just a curved wall of corten steel, or is there a bench or something there? It looked a bit weird from the aerial shots, so I was curious how that turned out.

I like the new music loop. I'm not sure it fits "new" Epcot (it seems more like traditional Epcot themes). But, it's another nice part of the very successful entry redo.

Sounds like a subtle homage to the Innoventions loop at the start of this.

Thoughts:

Almost acts like the Oasis at DAK, gives you a chance to breathe and settle into the park

Will feel more alive once CommuniCore opens and the outdoor stage comes into use

Definitely missing a small water feature, feels like one could “easily” be added to middle garden if they really wanted.

Generally an improvement over the concrete wasteland from before

The only reason it existed at all is to get people from the north entrance into the park. Now that the center area is open, it's no longer needed.

True, I just know that The Bypass at MK helps HEA and Park Close.

While I wish (like all of us) that there was a bit more substance, this is very, very, very well done.

Lots of visual and navigational textures, useful spaces, and design-wise a strong sense of "it goes" instead of "it matches."

It's one water feature away from the absolute best we possibly could have expected from today's organization.

I mean everything took too long overall I agree. But it wasn't the only project that Epcot was working on though...front of Epcot and lighting, two firework shows (Harmonious and Luminous), Remy's and the France pavilion expansion, Guardians, JoW. There was certainly "balls in the air" but yes it took too long, but I'm just ready to move forward.

It's also possible that JoW had to be complete before they could finish this area but I don't know that for sure. Just a theory.
