A lot of the pavement finally being uncovered near the center seems a good sign for them to continue pushing back walls soon.
Progressing, honestly a lot of progress in recent days. This is getting closer:

It might be a bit of a problem, but every opening faces downward at a pretty severe angle. If you're talking about the areas where you can still see through to the back, each panel will have both a back and front piece, so none will ultimately have an opening that allows access to the structural supports.Does Orlando not have a lot of nesting birds? Those panels seem to form nice little nooks…
I think it fits what they've been going for recently.Really hope that isn't the final place for whatever is in that box, because it isn't centered.
Slightly wider shot than the one from yesterday with a decent look at the Spaceship Earth pavement pattern going in at the far end of the former Fountain of Nations site. Also, it looks like some new walls might be getting staged along the path toward The Land.
It's weird in general that none of the non-dimensional paneling is up at all aside from the facing on that tiny structure behind the long edge of the awning. They even reverted the progress they'd made on the restroom building. Not sure if there's some sort of installation issue or if they're just going to start going at it hard in one fell swoop.Weird that they didn’t finish up the outside of the restroom building next to JoW, they could’ve easily avoided putting any walls on that side of the walkway, and removing basically all walls except for the ones for CommuniCore Hall/Plaza.

You mean gravemarker. That pavement seems to be their “nod” to the Fountain of nations.
As of today, every single one of these issues are still present. They seem to be having some issues (or just incompetence) with the lighting systems in the park. The entrance pathway lights and fountain lights have remained on the entire day for about a week now. The colored spotlights on SSE have been completely off for a few days now, even at night. Not to mention there are now close to two dozen of the LEDs that are either out, too dim, or miscolored. (about 10 of them consistently flash random colors when they’re supposed to be off, almost like lights you would see on tall buildings. One in particular has had the starburst effect out for about 15 months now.) A few of the new light poles all over former Future World just don’t ever turn on at night, making it quite dark. Over by JoW, the floor lights under the two tall palm trees in between JoW’s entrance and the Moana M&G have been off since they were installed, making it dangerously hard to see in that particular area (there are no other lights present). All of this to say that there must be some seriously incompetent or just plain oblivious people currently in charge of these sorts of things in the park to have this stuff happening and be unaddressed for so long. It’s frankly ridiculous.
Now bring back the palm treesLooking at the preview Disney showed of the “Wish” Points of Light show on SSE debuting this month, assuming the video isn’t doctored in any way, it seems they have fixed all of the broken lights on SSE, including the old spotlights and FINALLY the one starburst light that’s been broken for close to two years (circled in the first photo).View attachment 753262View attachment 753263
I wonder what the cause of non-working lights are. Is it:
the bulb
the device
the wiring
the programming
??
My experience has been that LED bulbs typically fail due to wiring or the electronics involved, not the LED element itself.I wonder what the cause of non-working lights are. Is it:
the bulb
the device
the wiring
the programming
