Those are the lost monorail beams they were going to use in the expansion!!! Expansion Confirmed!

Epcot, and Future World in particular, is notorious for having poorly documented sub-grade conditions. There’s all sorts of stuff in random places that isn’t properly documented.

Wrong direction for that, if it was the top corner the flat part would be going towards the Innoventions building instead of away from it.

From here the tunnel is running directly towards where the fountain used to be (ouch) before following the curve of the Earth Station south elevation.

No doubt being saved for a future 'Piece of History' pin ....with tiny bits of concrete immoralized in a tiny plastic bubble on a overpriced molded quasi-metal decoration.

Ouch! I'm assuming the pace will be somewhat quick from here, perhaps increasing in speed once the F&W festival is done with Flavors from Fire on the reverse and they can go hard
