Only thing I can see causing any sort of uproar is Figment going. But both sets of fans seem to like him. So it's going to be interesting. What's left to get IP? Wonders of Life? Seas already has it. Land doesn't seem to be except for the possible new movie in the theater.
What would cause a divide on opinion? More IP added to World Showcase? I mean just about everything does anyway ...

I'm sure WDW figures they can sell just as much merch without a ride as they can with one. If anything, I'm sure they'll try to pull a 1998 again (at some point) and hope for a different outcome. I feel they may get that thanks to the metric crap-ton of Pixar movies that everyone will lose their mind over and instantly forget about anything else. Either way, it'd be interesting.
Martins mentioned Imagination was set to open with something new 2023 or after (this has probably changed 500 times since then). Whether Figment is involved or isn't, who knows.
Maybe it's related to the CC buildings and those that want more green space versus something actually in the middle of the park. (They had plenty of green and blue prior to Innoventions but ruined it)

I’m thinking if it’s for EPCOT the 2 sets of fans hint could be fans of more IP added vs fans who want old school EPCOT stuff. The Disneyland Great Mickey Ride makes sense too if that’s the context of two sets of fans.

Not that one usually has to do with the other but WiR and Mary Poppins both have/had potential attractions clearly in development and both have movies coming out this month and next (and WiR is getting a set meet and greet in Epcot ... but again one doesn't often have to do with the other) .... but who knows? Like I said one doesn't usually involve the other but with Chapek in charge "synergy" and all that. But it's probably about the Mickey ride being cloned.

And wishful thinking, but I could see Poppins being an interesting discussion “between two sets of fans”. Wanting a great Mary ride but also......Epcot and IP.

I would guess:
(1) announcing names of two new Star Wars rides (official)
(2) announcement of Mickey train at Disneyland (two groups)
(3) Mary poppins ride confirmation.
And less likely:
(1) Brazil
