There is an experience being installed in ImageWorks, but it is not the character meet & greet.

Can we point the portal at wherever Dreamfinder and non-jerk Figment went instead?
Well... DPB certainly made it sound as such...
This winter, that portal opens a window on the internet for Ralph and Venellope to step through for regular encounters with Epcot guests in the ImageWorks area of the Imagination! pavilion.

"They’ll also be heading east to Walt Disney World Resort, where you’ll be able to meet them at Epcot, starting November 21 in Innoventions West"
Yes, it says both. Thus, they're either meeting in two places at once, or, once the space in ImageWorks is finished, they'll move over there. Or, the wording for what's happening at ImageWorks is misleading.

...or the writers at DPB are unaware that Imageworks and Innoventions are two different things.

Quite possibly.
Something may add life to another thread. Something else will undoubtedly make for an interesting discussion amongst two sets of fans.
If they’re announced of course.

That narrows down a couple threads. Some of them have been dead since September. I'm hoping they discuss FW more since that's the one they've been silent on the longest. WS wise, we have Brazil and possibly Poppins.
Possibly a party...or a funeral (RIPcot)

Some of the "dead" threads are the Land theater, Epcot hotel/boring/excavation work, the ImageWorks MnG (could there be more? Doubtful, but it's a "dead" thread), Sum of all thrills (doubtful as well).
I only went back and skimmed 10 pages of threads in this section.
