I just realized if they put stuff about Ego the Living Planet in the Wonders of Life pavilion while putting stuff about Knowhere the moon/planet sized head of a 'Celestial' from GotG 1 in the Universe of Energy (possibly like I mentioned here: link ) that would be two pavilions with outer space giant heads next to each other and near Mission: Space while you have stuff more about the Earth on the other side of Future World.

Edit:

Something else I have realized that could possibly impact Disney putting stuff into WDW based on Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is whether Disney can actually put stuff that includes Ego the living planet into theme parks in WDW based on the Marvel and Universal contract. According to Wikipedia, Ego the living planet first appeared in the Thor comics and was in the 1994 Fantastic Four cartoon show and the Silver Surfer cartoon show. Marvel apparently had to make a deal with Fox in order for Ego to appear in GOTG 2 because Fox had the movie rights to him apparently due to the Fantastic Four movie licensing deal Marvel made (http://io9.gizmodo.com/marvel-and-fox-worked-together-to-swap-characters-for-d-1788950819).

Does anybody here think they know whether Ego, Ego's spaceship, and/or Mantis could appear at WDW even without some sort of additional deal being made with Universal?

Another thing I just realized that has some spoilers for Guardians of the Galaxy 2:

The dome of the Wonders of Life is similar in shape to the disc-like shape of Ego's white spaceship in the movie. It looks kind of like if you took two same sized domes and cut them off buildings and stuck them together to be shaped like a disc. I think you can briefly see most of the exterior in one of the trailers.

So I can imagine that they could make Wonders of Life like another bigger version of the white spaceship that Ego made and people visiting the spaceship are supposed to imagine that Ego at least thinks they are supposed to be children of his that are meeting him in the spaceship. The space ship even has some part sticking out near the top that could explain why the building has a skylight. They would just maybe need to build something on top of the dome to make it look more like the spaceship in the movie while still somehow allowing light to come through the skylight and of course probably make the dome white.

they dont need help, except for maybe spice road,,everything from stores to the restaurants to the outdoor booths have been packed to the gills, I dont want to hear Disney whining about money, crowds have been insane in WS.
I guess that's good to hear, guess I have been gone too long. Last time I was there several eateries looked dead in hi season and I hate seeing empty buildings like in FW

I for one would really like to see this happen..It was brought up in this Post. And it would easily help crowd overflow and getting to East & West attractions easier....

Check out the song here at 9:45. Reckon Iger will commission a similar stirring anthem of wellness when IPcot's renaissance is nearing completion?

Hmmm. So just considering how Zootopia on the Energy pad and GotG and BH6 and other franchises like WiR and Incredibles and even Tron and Wall-E could all work to create a cohesive park. Interesting possibilities. Interesting indeed.

They could, but not at Epcot. Unless your goal is to completely trash Epcot and the entire purpose of the park, then it works perfectly.

The IP invasion where the characters started invading entire pavilions started under Iger's watch in 2006.
Not entirely true.

Eisner started it by having the Land Pavilion having the Circle of Life Film. That film used Characters from the Lion King. Eisner

That was not the only sign under Eisner's watch. Project Gemini had plans of having Little Mermaid IP in Living Seas. While Little Mermaid IP didn't take over living seas, The Living Seas was starting to be rethemed into Nemo under Eisner. Turtle Talk with Crush open in 2004 matter of fact.

The only thing of transformation the Living Seas that wasn't under Eisner's watch was the Nemo ride opening. What Iger was responsible for was the Character attractions in World Showcase with them being the Three Caballeros ride in Mexico and all the Frozen stuff in Norway.

Not entirely true. Circle of Life was 1995. The legacy walk around characters came in 1984.

.
Circle of Life was only one attraction in a whole pavilion and it actually tied in very well with the existing park. Under Iger, It would have likely become "The Land with Simba & Friends" and the whole pavilion would have been turned into a Lion King IP-fest and there would be no attempt made to actually have it fit thematically.

I am of the strong opinion they shouldn't seek to salvage the Future World we knew in half- measures or the solution will be worse than the problem. Go the Sci-fi City route utilizing popular IPs and watch those turnstiles spin.

Oh yeah, turnstiles, like Future-ish World, are also obsolete.
