Good morning the last topic for this week will be night time shows. What is the best night time show/parade you have scene!

Spectro and New Years Fantasy in the Sky for me.

I had to skip yesterday's topic as we've never stayed at a Deluxe.... Someday though

Man this is a tough one. Fantasmic for us though is just so good.

Honorable mention to Hallowishes/Boo to You events... outstanding performances.

The New Years Eve show blew me away. My wife is a caterer and we had to work an event that day. I literally was watching the closing phases praying we would be able to make it. Sure enough they let us in. My wife, exchange student, and myself were treated to the most amazing fireworks ever!!!

Our exchange student is from Russia were New Year is their big holiday, she smiled from ear to ear when she saw the show.

I have not been lucky enough to see them all.. but I really love Spectro Magic.. and for the first time this past September I got see Boo to You! GREAT Parade!

Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! Christmas music, the costumes, fake snow being shot onto Main Street while eating a hot dog with fries and cheese sauce from Casey's Corner..... I'm getting home sick explaining. :(
We get tickets for any available night when we go down there. :D

Good morning today's topic is park icon. What is the best park icon!

Hands down SSE!

:ROFLOL: Gee, I wonder which is everyone's LEASE favorite park icon!

For nostalgia reasons I have to go Cinderella Castle. I have a little girl, and the first time she looked down Main St, pointed and said "Daddy Daddy look"... That was it for me. Since it's always 1st park we visit too, that's when i go... Ok, i'm on vacation!

Honorable mention to SSE, by far the coolest of the 4 and an engineering marvel.

I have to say, my favorite is the Monorail. I get absolutely giddy when I see it go by for the first time each trip. And now my daughter even calls them by name as they go by: "Mom, there goes Coral Mono" (First thing I taught her at WDW was that there was a pink and a coral mono and she must learn the difference ). We also have "Husker" mono (which is the black with the red border for our Nebraska Huskers :animwink:). Every time it goes over us at Epcot or past us as we drive to the parks, we have to say "There goes X mono!!" Love it!

Cinderella's Castle is probably the first obvious choice, but the Monorail is a very close second for me. I adore the Monorail system. It is one of my favorite things in WDW.

Good morning today's topic is strolling through the parks. What is the best park to simply just walk around not do any attractions just stroll around.

Mine is EPCOT I could walk around WS for days.

For me it would be AK. While I rank AK 4th out of the 4 parks normally, for purposes of this topic alone I'd rank it 1st. There's something about the landscaping, the design, the sounds and of course the animals, it makes strolling through this park my favorite.

By only a slight hair does EPCOT get honorable mention (almost got 1st for me). World Showcase is just about as good as it gets. Grabbing an adult beverage, strolling the lagoon, going through shops, trying different foods.. it's very relaxing.

I'd have to go with Asia in AK. Thematically this area is just gorgeous and authentic feeling. From the cluttered boats along the river banks, to the monkey island, and the old rusted vehicles and carts piled high with stuff. The queues for Kali River Rapids and Expedition Everest... I could spend hours just strolling around this section of park.

A close second is definitely World Showcase. Some of my best Epcot days are days spent entirely in WS.

Mine is definitely Epcot World Showcase. I feel so relaxed when I'm walking around and I love poking in all of the little shops, stopping for a drink, watching the mini-train town. I just love it all....(oh..to be there now...)
