Good morning today's topic is outside the parks. What is the best thing to do outside the parks.

I love to go hotel hopping!

Hanging out in Raglan Road....love the place and the entertainment!!!

I've never heard of this? What is Raglan Road?

Last time I went, we strolled around the Boardwalk and looked through the hotels there. I really enjoyed that. I have never been there before. In fact, I always thought the Boardwalk and DTD were synonymous!! That was really fun - the bike riding and arcades. It felt like its own little town. :)

It would be Epcot, World Showcase for sure! I did get a chance to walk around for hours by myself my last trip.. and I still didn't have enough time! Animal Kingdom would be a real close 2nd.... just have fallen in love with this park.

It's a three way tie for me............ Love to pay a visit to Downtown Disney!... Love to go Hotel Hopping! My new fav. is renting a water craft of some sort at a marina! If I had to just choose one I guess it would be going to Downtown Disney :)

I have to say, my favorite is the Monorail. I get absolutely giddy when I see it go by for the first time each trip. And now my daughter even calls them by name as they go by: "Mom, there goes Coral Mono" (First thing I taught her at WDW was that there was a pink and a coral mono and she must learn the difference ). We also have "Husker" mono (which is the black with the red border for our Nebraska Huskers :animwink:). Every time it goes over us at Epcot or past us as we drive to the parks, we have to say "There goes X mono!!" Love it!

I would have to agree with you... the Monorail is a serious contender for our family! My daughter is obsessed with the monorail ... we have a Disney Travel book and in it is a page for you to check off each color you have spotted! Really cute:)

Downtown Disney for us. Oddly enough we can spend as much time here as we could in AK. Not just for the shopping, but for some adult time at Raglan Road, dining, Ghiradelli's. It's awesome. We are excited for Splitsville too, should be nice alternative to night time at a park.

Missed yesterday, but I love roaming around Animal Kingdom.

Today's answer: I love going to the Disney outlet stores on a break from the parks. It's the most economical way of fulfilling all the requests from family and friends and a great place for Christmas shopping.

or sitting in a hot tub recuperating from all the walking.

Oh man, now you're making it REALLY tough!!!

Well, since it's all about the kids, I will answer CRT, breakfast to be specific. My little girl got 1 on 1 time with each of "her" princesses... Plus the keepsake picture, the wand/swords, the abitlity to eat inside the castle.. just has it all. Besides, the actual food is oustanding. I can taste the stuffed french toast now :slurp:

That being said, honorable mention to Chef Mickeys. It's my favorite personally, the atmosphere and high energy are great. Nothing quite like early morning monorail ride into the Contemporary, stepping off and being right there for breakfast. We ususally hit the mono right back over to MK for a full day.
