Hmm,let me think?

Well to be honest, none of us are big sweet fans, well except my son who likes chocolate cake, but I do remember having my first taste of key lime pie at H.O.B. In downtown Disney.Hmm,it was so good I ate my DW Portion whilst she was at the toilet. She came back and saw her empty plate and said " what the!!!". I said," Honey, your not gonna believe this but the server ate it.".Guess who was in the bad books that night.:slurp:

Favourite dessert!?

Mine is a big ol' ice cream cone from the Main Street Ice Cream Parlor. They have a type of ice cream that is not available at most places ice cream cones are sold. It's always an exciting treat!

Ahh why are your questions so hard to answer!!? I can never decide  . But for the purposes of this thread I will have to go with the dirt and worms they used to serve at the Garden Grill . Keep em' coming! I love this thread

As I mentioned in a previous answer (favorite snack-cart), I LOVE the cupcakes at Disney World. I try and eat one every day! ( I know, bad, right?). But, they are soooo good! I love that they have them in most of the quick service cafeteria places cause then I can pick one up. We stayed at the Pop Century one year and I was in there every night after the parks grabbing a cupcake:-) Secret: sometimes I'll lie and say it's my daughter's birthday just to get one at a restaurant! :lookaroun

Good morning today's topic will be dessert! Where in WDW is the best dessert?

Mine is the Blueberry Fruitbuckle at the Garden Grille.

This one was not even a hesitation for me... Main Street Bakery.. Ask for the Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich. I'd post a pic of my last one if I was not at work ;).

2 huge Toll House chocolate chip cookies. 2 or 3 (can't remember) large scoops of fresh vanilla ice cream. It has to weight 2 lbs alone. We even ate one for lunch one day!! Hey you're on vacation right!

Honorable mention to the Wishes Dessert Party as a whole. Tried for first time in October and every single thing i touched was delicious.

IMO it's Ghirardelli at DTD. The Nob Hill Chill is rediculous it's so good. Think of a sundae in drink form. Great now I want one...

Dreams Only.

Well since our WDW vacations are bi-annual and are for two weeks,we couldn't justify paying for a deluxe[ we hardly spend much time in hotel resort ] But we do visit deluxe resorts just incase we win the lottery. The Poly didn't do much to us,but AK,looked great, however WL,got our vote, loved the main hall and surroundings.

Basing it just on the ones that we have stayed at I will go with Wilderness Lodge. Agreed with above post, the Poly didn't do it for us either. Gotta give some love to our second home at BLT as well. Can't wait to check out Grand Floridian when the DVC opens up there!

Hmm..This is a tough one because I have not stayed at every deluxe, so I'll limit my opinion to those I have experience with: Contemp, Polynesian, and GF. OK, so of those 3: Honestly, I hated the GF - it was waaaayy too formal for me and almost ruined the atmosphere IMHO and definitely was not fun for the kids. The rooms were really boring to them.

I do love the Polynesian because of the view. But, I'd have to say my favorite is the Contemp. I love the convenience of it. If you stay in the tower it literally is like 5 minutes from MK to your room (And MK is usually where we end up at night). No crazy walking (which is a real blessing after a long day in the parks). And, really, the mono is not that loud (well, at least when you're on the side overlooking the lake).

This May I'm staying at the Wilderness Lodge. I'm excited to try it to see how it lives up to the Contemp. I really am a fan of hotels as opposed to motels where the buildings are all seperated and the walk is soooo long to your room. That was my main issue with the Pop Century and Coronado when we stayed there. I guess we'll see how WL goes---maybe my opinion will change?!?!?

I as well will be staying in the Wilderness Lodge for the first time this May! It will be my first Deluxe resort. I have always stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort, which I love. I have visited WL many times to eat and shop and based on that I give it a top vote. I love to visit the Poly. but not sure if I would want to stay there.. this goes for the Contemporary as well. Anyone here stay at Bay Lake Towers?????

First, I have to say I love this thread!

Although I have never gotten to stay in a deluxe, my dream vacation involves the Beach Club or the Wilderness. I love the relaxed themes and atmospheres in both. (Plus that Beach Club pool is just the coolest and you can't beat a geyser.)

Independence Day.

Well our first visit in 2004 we arrived on July 2nd and on the 4th of July we watched illuminations at Epcot that night, they put on a special show for the armed forces that night and is was mind blowing. The other magic moment of the night was in our last visit,2010,we were there for July 4th for the second time but this time we spent all day at MK. That night at "wishes",they done a special 4th July display, again it was awesome.:sohappy:

I LOVED the Halloween Parade. I thought the gravediggers and the little "dance" they did with their shovels was soooo cool! That was by far the best parade I've ever at Disney or anywhere for that matter!
