Fire Mountain was originally planned for Adventureland set in a jungle. How does that not fit in with AK?

As far as I know, the magma worm was never planned for Fire Mountain, this is the problem. The magma worm is currently in the journey to the center of the earth ride @ Tokyo Disney Sea. I can't really buy the magma worm concept unless it is at the center of the earth and not simply in the volcano. And maybe you could do a variation, but I don't think you could do a journey to the center of the earth ride without Jules Verne.

Nevertheless, I don't see why that wouldn't fit into AK. You see the volcano on the outside and drilling equiptment on the inside.

If you guys want them to build all these cool rides and projects that sit on the shelves all you have to do is:

1 - Stop visiting WDW and stop giving them money
2 - Tell friends and family to do the same. Suggest other tourist destinations and inform them quality has gone down at WDW.
3 - Begin a letter writing campaign to Disney. Bonus points if you get Orlando sentinel and a couple of the local papers to write up an article.

Its that easy guys. Thats how we do things in California and it always works like a charm.

Yeah, thing is, TDO would say fine, stay home. Because WDW depends more on tourism than locals, unlike DLR.

I do think that will change in the future, seeing those tourists are getting better Disney theme parks in their own backyard now.

It will get better, but not while current TDO heads are still running the park.

Dragons and unicorns are too deeply imbedded in both HP

Dragons, maybe, but I don't see how Unicorns are "too deeply imbedded" in WWOHP. There's no real attraction based on them there, and as far as I know the only Unicorn related things there are the stuffed animals I think.

Didn't Voldemort feed on Unicorns? (I could be totally off...not the biggest HP fan).

The HP books are full of fantasy beasts, and several of them appear in the indoor ride at IoA, plus dragon- and hippogriff-themed outdoor rides. And if Uni expands Potterville, it might end up using more of them.

Disney has enough smart creative people to come up with more good new ideas for DAK. The moment for BK has passed.

AK needs a boost for sure. A night show, new area, new rides, something...It is a cool park but just the tip of the iceberg as to what Disney can and should do. BTW IMO the new Trek should be part of park admission not an extra cost experience. We only go to AK every other trip as a filler day.

It's still a new park. They'll do more with it.

It's more important to get it right than to get it done quickly. What they have so far is mostly first rate. I'd give Asia a 10 on a scale of 0-10, and Africa a 9. The Oasis and Discovery Island areas are great. Dinoland isn't quite up to the same standards, but it's OK.

I wouldn't rush to add another land if it meant getting something that's just OK, like Dinoland. Take the time to do it right, and get another Asia or Africa.

Great theming at the entry and two lands... CMM and Dinoland are a disaster and need to be fixed.

The park is 13 years old now...that's plenty of time for them to get things right and add more than what they have.

I too want to see it done right, and i think they have enough plans created by Imagineers over the years that this should not be a problem for them.

I was just in Disney this weekend, and we always go to DAK for the first day. Well this trip was also different because we went to Universal just to see the WWOHP. Let me just say as a huuuuge Disney person, my mind was blown by HP world. Disney needs some rides like the Forbidden Journey, that ride just was the coolest thing I've ever seen and/or been on.

I think they should tape horns to white horses heads and add them to the BK and let little girls take pictures with them.
