The OP convinced me. We have to stop this evil plot before it is too late! Why won't anyone listen? They're taking over our brains! They're going to steal our children's minds! For the love of God, won't someone please think of the children?
I don't have any Kids and have a large stock of tinfoil mickey ears ....EPIC WIN

Why, of course Disney's thought of the children! Their neurons are much easier to take over!

Yes, cause that's what they're doing. "Banding" you. They're going to hold you down and permanently affix this horrible Wristband device to your arm. Then the wristband secretly connects itself directly into your central nervous system, so Disney can secretly tell you what and when to buy. You won't be able to stop it!! Stay away from the parks, or you will be taken over!,
I read this and Logan's Run popped into my mind LOL!!!

I personally agree. If it becomes mandatory to wear that horrible, tacky, rubber, handcuff, I will not be returning to WDW. I dont walk around in Mickey ears, I don't pin trade and wear a lanyard, my shirts don't all have characters on them, so I'm not about to start wearing matching bracelets with the rest of the guests.

Lets see so if your car has built in GPS like chevy onstar you won't drive it, If you cell phone has built in GPS like an iphone you won't use it. Come on OP you are being tracked by so many electonic devices you already own but yet you worry that they will track where you eat, shop or what ride you go on in WDW I just do not get it.

They won't miss you.

Sorry to say it but this is the way of the future. Honestly? Ten years hence you won't think it's even remotely out of the ordinary to have RFID embedded in everything you receive from any company. Chances are it won't be wristbands any more by then, the tech will have advanced by leaps and bounds by then.

Haha, well said. Sometimes when I watch TV I see shows that do not interest me. When that happens, I simply change the channel. If wristbands cause that much grief, there are always Universal ponchos to try out...

Even if you like Disney monitoring you.
We live on a fascist planet.
Security checks, cameras all over the place

Wrist-straps
1') are not comfortable
2) Says I am Disney Dork

Who goes to WDW for a week and never leaves the property ?

Why is it silly?
That out of everything, the wrist bands are the "final straw" of wanting to leave. Rather than just carrying it on you, or something of the sort. I'm not criticizing you, just rather perplexed about that.

Do you even know what fascism is?

And, once again, RFID cards are going to be a likely alternative to the bracelet regardless.

As I said in one of the other tin-foil hat wearing malcontent threads, I hope the promises to stop going to WDW will also be extended to this forum. But I'm sure they will still go, whine the whole time, come back here and whine, and then generate another crisis as the reason for the end of the "world."
