Is Pyms quick service any good?

We did the buffet dinner in Paris and it was decent. First trip to West coast this year and fancy trying the QS out

No. At DCA I’d recommended you go for the Turkey Leg Sandwich. Well it doesn’t exist- it’s my creation and you have to assemble it yourself but it’s worth it. Grab a baguette from the Bakery at the land formerly known as Pacific wharf. You ll find a cart outside which is much faster than waiting inside at the restaurant.

Then go grab yourself a Turkey leg from the cart of the main path between Avengers Campus and Cars Land. They may or may not have them. If they don’t you’ll have to go to Pixar Pier and grab one from Poultry Palace. Grab yourself some Mayo, mustard, hot sauce or whatever condiments you like. I usually stick to just Mayo or sometimes just bread and meat as I assemble little bites and sandwiches.

Now head to the outdoor section of Flo’s facing RSR and enjoy. I usually stick to just Mayo or sometimes just bread and meat as I assemble little bites and sandwiches. You may even want to mobile order some steak fries from Flo’s to go with it. They re actually pretty good.

At Disneyland go to Plaza Inn for a fried chicken plate.

As much as I love Avengers Campus, the food is the part I'm not so fond of. I go anywhere else to eat but there. lol

I'll say that I've had the supersized pretzel and wasn't impressed by it. I did really like one of their seasonal atomic pretzels but that flavor is gone and I'm not interested in the current one. Nothing else there appeals given better food options elsewhere in the park.

Eat at Flo's next door in Cars Land for charming theming and decent food or at Aunt Cass Cafe for bread bowls or any of the other better choices at DCA. :)

Breakfast at Pym is actually pretty decent, other than the disgusting Disneyland coffee, but other than that I agree I’d never eat a meal other than breakfast there.

I've actually wanted to try the French Toast there but I never seem to get there early enough. Last time I tried I was there at 10:25 or so and they'd already shut down the breakfast menu.

Orange County Register reports Disneyland is closing the Doctor Strange: Mysteries of the Mystic Arts show in Avengers Campus.

"A superhero show that has drawn standing room only crowds and been a staple of Avengers Campus since the Marvel themed land opened at Disney California Adventure will end its run later this month.

The final performance of “Doctor Strange: Mysteries of the Mystic Arts” in Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure is said to be on June 30, according to Disneyland officials.

However, fans may not want to wait until then to catch one last performance of the show. Currently, the last scheduled performance of “Doctor Strange: Mysteries of the Mystic Arts” is set for June 22, according to the Disneyland website.

No Doctor Strange shows are currently scheduled beyond that during the week of June 23-30, according to the Disneyland website. Disney California Adventure continually evaluates entertainment offerings and makes adjustments, according to Disneyland officials.

As always, performance dates and times can change, but as June 22 is the final show currently available, it’s probably better to plan ahead than be sorry you missed your last chance to catch the show."

That's too bad, the show was always entertaining and a better feature of the land.

Very odd and off-putting. DCA needs MORE THINGS to do. Not less. Especially when their giant theatre sits empty still.

And this can't be related to the union situation, as no contracts have been signed / negotiated as of yet.

Soft summer cuts?
This is right after they cut the live performers from the Club Pixar at DCA and just a few weeks ago they cut the piano players from the Horseshoe at Disneyland - not a good sign for live entertainment.

As I mentioned in the unionization topic, more cuts were *inevitable*. :(

Sad about this as it leaves the dance-off as the only nighttime show on Campus. And that Strange show was SO beautiful at night with the lights and the music.

Wolverine is one of the most recognizable and popular marvel characters. He's probably 2nd behind spiderman(I'm talking about before the movies made ironman and such into a-list characters). He and Deadpool are about to be in either the highest or second highest movie of the summer. They would be foolish not to have a meet n greet.

There are a lot more Marvel properties that are more deserving of an attraction as well as more simpatico with the Disney brand. On the flip side, making Deadpool a family friendly attraction is not utilizing that property to its full potential.
Well it would just be a M&G and probably a temporary one at that.

What Marvel property do you think is more deserving?

Oh I misread. Didn’t realize you said M&G. For attractions I’d say Avengers/ Dr Strange/ Iron Man/ Captain America and Spider-Man still needs a proper ride to name a few. Even Iron Man is just a Star Tours downgrade in HK.

Yes just a temp M&G to promote the movie in a couple weeks.

I wouldn’t think they would put in a Deadpool and/or Wolverine attraction before any other Avengers.

The M&G makes sense to me. Do they fight each other? Can we give them a fight scene (like the Avengers have with Taskmaster) for the after 8pm crowd? I’d keep Wolverine around during the day as well.

IIRC, Moon Knight got an evening only showcase inside Avengers Campus for a month or two? Don’t think Deadpool is less family friendly than that.

Prior to the mass entertainment cutbacks still rolling out, I think we easily would've gotten a Deadpool & Wolvie stunt show for the season.

No way they'd do any Deadpool meet & greet. Wolvie may still be a meet & greet possibility though. He'd be super popular if they saved him for OBB, but I'd be happy to have Wanda back again along with the expected Agatha return.

However, given that there was no representation on Campus of Echo at all, MA/R-rated stuff may be off the table there completely.

Kamala is still out greeting guests as of this weekend, just FYI. She seems to have earned an extended stay past the movie window like Shang-Chi and Shuri.
