Reading all the rumours about 1 ride in the land I'm skeptical. Are these the same people that said the parade was going to not have a new soundtrack. The same people that said SDMT animatronics were scaled back and there wasn't even all the dwarves in the ride? I don't know what to believe. Are they real or fake?? IT'S DRIVING ME INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All plans are fluid but i would take the words of landau and cameron over mice chat
Again none of our insiders here have said for sure what is happening

Much bigger. I've heard there gonna get even bigger and expand beyond the road therefore having to rebuild it around the expansion. It's gonna be bigger than cars land.

I doubt they are going to go beyond the road since that would require not only moving the road but moving the lake back there. They have more then enough space to do what they want within the border of the road. Also, the permits filed with the South Florida Water Management District for this do not show any disruption to that lake.

It's just a rumour so who knows

...and micechat has been losing alot of credibility over the past several months in my opinion

Since the Micechat article, we seem to have semi-confirmation that the boat ride might be delayed and the land will open in phases (and even that seems uncertain at this time). It does not appear that the boat ride has been cut at this point.

However, it brings up the relevant point about Micechat that when it comes to WDW, the always tend to paint any information in the worse possible light. So, maybe they heard some valid information about the boat ride being delayed or evaluated or whatever and they decided to run with an as negative as possible report of it's been cancelled and the scope of the land has been reduced. Because that's what Micechat does with their WDW reporting.

Same information with DL and they almost certainly would have put out a more soft report, something like "we have unconfirmed reports that the boat ride might be delayed to a Phase 2" or whatever.

Sounds like you are relying on the same "sources" who have been wrong from day 1 about Pandora.

The only reason the FLE was done in phases was because it was added to an existing park that already had capacity issues. Somewhat similar to DCA.

Because Pandora will not require the closure of any attractions from this point forward there is no need to build in phases. Although there may be consideration for possible future growth of this land.

Of course those that can never admit they were scamming everyone will then call any additions "phase 2". It is no more a phase 2 (or 3 or 4 or 5) than was Soarin' or a new World Showcase restaurant. For example.

While there might not be a "need" to build in phases, opening in phases is a very real possibility as they will want to start reaping the rewards of the expansion as soon as they can.

I guess they could have done this with Carsland but did not. Opening an entire (and fully operational) land creates a buzz. Also Iger has expressed interest in tying the unveiling of theme park attractions with the films associated with them.

Would not be suprised if this was built into the deal with Cameron wanting the same timing.

I am betting on a Carsland type unveiling.

I agree. I am hoping that they will wait and open up the land when it is complete, but I will not be surprised if it opens when the e-ticket, and some the stores and the restaurants are done.

No proof that the "sources" were wrong about Pandora, that is just your opinion.

Carsland opened all at once, but the make over of DCA was phased.
