Banks Lee was able to ride on his second attempt.I've read elsewhere that they have been adjusted now, and some people unable to fit in them now can.

I'm in the same boat. Part of me wants to cheat and watch the videos but another side says be surprised. So far the be surprised side is wining.
There's one part of the land that I hadn't seen. Yes Park Journey, I am that "someone."
Here are the restrooms:

Video and photos cannot even come close to depicting the awesome job that Disney has done with Avatar. The whole land is visually awesome. I purposely avoided all but the most basic photos and reviews. Glad I did. It made the experience so incredible.
Our photos look CGI. It is unreal.
Omg amazing Pandora straws are perfect size to fit the little balls in all the drinks so you can drink them up.
Here is our ride-through of Na'vi River Journey.
We've attempted to get this as close as possible to how it looks in person.

It did not feel tracked in any way. I'm pretty sure the boats were free floating.I see there are guide rails (like Small World, Pirates, etc. have) along the path, which I find extremely confusing.
Why is that needed? These boats are connected to a track below, much like the Jungle Cruise boats. JC doesn't have guide rails, and this ride shouldn't either. There is no reason one of the keel boats would ever touch the rails. Am I right?
I am hoping that you, or someone else who's been on it, can explain. Nice video btw.

Straws in AK? I thought they were banned - or is that only in stuff you bring in yourself?
DAK had a no straw policy when it opened. The paper straws came in around 2007 - it was a big deal at the time! I remember it well. There have always been straws in AK. It's just that they're all paper straws and not plastic.
