AVATAR land - the specifics

It'll be very interesting to see what happens to DAK after this opens. Hopefully it won't be another decade or more before the next expansion. Personally I'd like to see the continent of Australia if they'd continue on that theme. If they're going the ip route which seems likely I have a bad feeling they could shoehorn in zootopia even though that would be better suited for DHS. After the 50th comes around all of the other 3 parks will likely have taken their turn for big projects leaving DAK up next again.

I can't imagine there are a lot of choices in DAK for you then. If you go there where do you normally eat? I have to admit I have never had a burger or chicken fingers there. Rainforest Cafe? Pizzafari or Restaurantasaurus?
Yep Restaurantasaurus, flame tree and Pizzafari. I don't go to rainforest it's too expensive

I like unusual food and I agree that (except for the cheesecake) the Pandora food doesn't look great. "Fish eggs" is not the look you want from your garnish.

Also, I find it a bit odd that the food is inspired by Chinese fare when the Na'vi are so clearly based on stereotypes of Native Americans.

Exactly. For me, it's too exotic. I applaud them for going above the norm but the pictures do not look appealing. I am willing to bet they change the menu in 2018.

On a side note, the true winner will likely be Tiffins.

im going to the May 13th preview at 6:00
my goals are to:
1.ride both rides
2.explore the land
3.eat some freaking Navi Cheesecake

I'm going then to. What I am wondering is if they will let you stay past 8pm? I picked that time purposely to, hopefully, experience the land at night! I'm curious to how many passholders will be there during each time frame and how long the lines will be for the two attractions.

Except what you feel about Pandora food isn't exactly how he feels about Pizzafari. He's been to Pizzafari. You haven't been to Pandora.

Obviously you failed to read my other message. I clearly said as a critical thinker, I have made my initial assessment and will go to Pandora to eat then re-evaluate.

"The rides are terrible" But you haven't even been on any of the rides, have you? So how can you make such a statement? Also, you criticize the food too but you haven't even tasted it yet! Nonsense hahaha After you ride the rides and try the food then your opinion is valid.
I wonder if this guy is a secondary account from one of the most annoying members of this forum.
Who complains comments and many other things like he's an expert.. despite never touching any of the parks.

While I was fully expecting a full pan-Asian menu (since that seems to be the go-to flavor pallette on-property recently, especially Asian-style slaws), to be honest, there are only a few items (tofu, bao pods, fore-mentioned veggie slaw) that are overtly Asain.

The three sauces available in the bowls (chimmicuri, black bean vinaigrette, creamy herb dressing) certainly aren't, nor is the potato hash.
