FWIW, lots of drinks can glow under the right light (like UV): https://beverage-recipes.wonderhowt...-with-these-cool-glow-dark-cocktails-0139410/
If you go to the attached blog in @Direwolf27 's post, the statement regarding a 2 person banshee is actually in that article. You have to go to the first page. The article is broken up into 5 specific points about Pandora at DAK. The page you are directed to only covers points 4 and 5. Go to the first page and it speaks about the rides.
It doesn't matter, but I like the idea of a 2-person banshee better. I'd be more likely to get my scaredy-cat children on the ride if they were with me instead of solo.
Will they have a glow that is facilitated by a battery powered LED encased in food safe plastic?Heard back from Disney Media Relations. The drinks are not bioluminescent.
My sense is that whoever wrote Disney's content doesn't know what the word "bioluminescent" means.
Yeah, this is consistent with the entire land. It's going to look bioluminescent, but not actually be bioluminescent. It's marketing, though. I didn't take it as Disney indicating that the drinks would actually be bioluminescent, but that they'd be pretend bioluminescent just like how all the food is pretended to be developed and serviced on an alien moon. In this case, the concept probably being that some sort of "glow in the dark" ingredient found on Pandora is used to flavor the drink and give it the glow as opposed to y'know the light up ice cubes.
One ride has the 48" ride height. I really hope it is a thrill. I know it is a big screen ride, but Disney may have another hit on their hands.
My bad. I meant 44", my excitement got the best of me.44" - not 48", Unless you are referring to another ride not in Pandora.

awesome idea introducing the food on the chew
Yeah, and in the Haunted Mansion those aren't real ghosts. Nor does Dinosaur really take us back in time.My point was that "bioluminescent" means that something alive is causing the glowing. And if Disney wanted to use something living and glowing in a drink, they'd probably have to run it by some governmental organization, like the FDA.
I'm aware that oysters are regularly eaten live. I'm not aware of any bioluminescent animals that would be appropriate for a drink served in a theme park. I could be wrong.

That goes for trees, bushes, animals... and drinks!
