Tonic water gets really bright in black light. Other potables to a lesser extent.

Bioluminescent protein found in sea life have been used to make glow in the dark ice cream, but hasn't been approved for US consumption yet. And is very expensive. But, the science is getting there.

Or, like people have said, cups and cubes with an LED light in them.

Looks like some details about ride heights are coming out.

Deep in the heart of the Valley of Mo’ara, discover Avatar Flight of Passage—an all-new expedition that lets interstellar explorers like you climb atop a mountain banshee for a breathtaking, first-person flight over the moon’s incredible landscape.

Bonding with a mountain banshee is a crucial step in the life of a Na’vi hunter—and flying on the back of one of these powerful winged creatures represents an important rite of passage.

Now, as a visitor to Pandora, you’ll finally have the chance to test yourself in a similar way!

It’s a 2 person vehicle that will remind you of riding upon a Banshee. Think of it along the lines of Soarin’.

  • Height limit: 44″
  • Fastpass+: Yes
Na’vi River Journey

Glide down a gentle, mysterious river and feel a sense of wonder as the full beauty of Pandora reveals itself. Located within the Valley of Mo’ara, Na’vi River Journey offers explorers an experience that has to be seen—and heard—to be believed!

As your expedition begins, climb aboard a reed boat and drift downstream. After coasting through a series of caves, and passing by exotic glowing plants and amazing creatures of the rainforest, you’ll soon find yourself face-to-face with the Na’vi Shaman of Songs.

The adventure comes to a conclusion as the Shaman demonstrates her deep connection to the life force of Pandora—and sends positive energy out into the forest through the power of her music!

Think of this as a Pandoran version of it’s a small world or Pirates of the Caribbean with a slow moving, multi-person boat.

Post above mine

"it’s a 2 person vehicle that will remind you of riding upon a Banshee"

I just noticed there is no source link though so I don't know where that user has the info from..
That line appears to have been added in by the poster. The rest is pulled directly from the Disney website but that line and the one later about pirates of the caraibbean were added by the poster.

I agree it's probably an LED or similar technology. That's not "bioluminescent" though. I'll stop being pedantic now.

If you go to the attached blog in @Direwolf27 's post, the statement regarding a 2 person banshee is actually in that article. You have to go to the first page. The article is broken up into 5 specific points about Pandora at DAK. The page you are directed to only covers points 4 and 5. Go to the first page and it speaks about the rides.

My point was that "bioluminescent" means that something alive is causing the glowing. And if Disney wanted to use something living and glowing in a drink, they'd probably have to run it by some governmental organization, like the FDA.

I'm aware that oysters are regularly eaten live. I'm not aware of any bioluminescent animals that would be appropriate for a drink served in a theme park. I could be wrong.

My sense is that whoever wrote Disney's content doesn't know what the word "bioluminescent" means.

Bioluminsecent has a much better marketing ring to it than "drinks illuminated by a battery powered LED encased in food safe plastic".
