Do we have any idea what the capacity of the avatar rides will be? Are we taking pirates for the boat ride and soarin x2 for FOP?

FOP will really depend on how the banshee seating works. The stock Vekoma flight simulator can do either 90 or 160 passengers depending on the configuration. So the theoretical capacity will be that times 4 time cycles per hour. But, it's likely they will not use the stock seating so that will change the numbers.

Hopefully it's high. The fact that it's 4 huge theaters gives me hope.

Yeah, NFL looks very nice, but the actual attractions were very disappointing to me.

Not enough screens?

Can you really tell me with a straight face that 7DMT is a better ride than Gringott's or Forbidden Journey?

I don't know about better but I prefer it. I'm not much for the screens though.
The biggest problem Gringott's has is that it uses a new ride system where the end result is too similar to Spider-Man and Transformers. Forbidden Journey uses a new ride system that is unlike anything else. Screen based attractions are fine, but Gringotts feels a bit too much like more of the same after Spidey and Transformers.

If they had done a bit more with the track (like a sideways drop or something else) it would have helped. Basically anything to further differentiate it from the others. By itself though, Gringotts is still a fantastic ride and from simply a scope standpoint better than Little Mermaid or Mine Train.

Having said that, ride preference is opinion based. You might like one intellectual property over another. One ride might make you sick. There are any number of reasons to like one ride over another but I think it's fair to say that the expectations and execution of Gringotts was higher and the scope was larger than Little Mermaid and/or Mine Train. You're comparing an E-ticket to two D tickets.

I wasn't the one who made the comparison in the first place. Gringotts would've beaten out NFL if it had an animatronic dragon and a more unique ride system. In the end SDMT just left me more impressed. Sure Gringotts is literally bigger and more thrilling, but to me that didn't really add anything to the ride. The queue is very well done though.
