i would think because of the area it is going into and thepeople involved, that there is simply no one that will talk about it at this stage (bringing it up 7 years before rope drop was bad enough, trying to hold some things back... did a good job with the cottage scene, didn't they?)

just curious
are you not asking your peeps because you could care less about it or this is such hush project that its hard to get info?
To be quite honest, and again from a purely personal view, I don't have much interest. I'm sure it'll be nice whenever it opens and I'm sure we will like it but that's about it. I've been chasing up other things elsewhere.

Plus how many times may details change before we see the finished product. Why add fuel to some people's comlaining, not that they need it.

like the tommorowland/fantasyland sight-line tree? and assembling a search party to locate it?

piering, pouring footings, moving steel/product off of trucks, assembling the grouting machine for shoring up subsiding ground, assembling construction sheds....

At times I think that we should start trying to actively recruit members that are also pilots.

But then I think to myself how cool it would be to have an entire land added to a WDW Park without having seen much of it...like in the old days when surprises were still possible. The 7DMT was scrutinized to death since it was smack dab in the middle of the most popular Disney park in the world (arguably). This is very different. Avatar isn't exactly where people can easily view it. I find myself thinking about the possibility of having a large added land that people have not been able to readily view, and when that land opens walking into it not already knowing everything about it. I just think that would be kinda cool.
