They've started to cover up the "vine-connection" to the top mountain!

LOL. Is this guy seriously complaining about sh*t 10+ years into the future?

Surprised I'm justifying this with a response, but remind yourself Animal Kingdom has been open close to 2 decades and has thus far seen ONE major addition. Even with Avatar, it is still lacking in the ride department, and I love Animal Kingdom.

There are no limits to what people will complain about. ;)

I'm not complaining merely highlighting a very realistic possibility in that with the DHS redo, Epcot needing one and MKs 50th, it will likely be another 10 years before anything else is on the agenda. That's 30 years of operation, and still a park that, in the eyes of many will still not have enough rides. Personally I can do more than a full day there just taking it in....many people just go for the rides and I know people disappointed in what AK offers. It is still some major steps from being the next level park it could be.

I guess it depends on what you consider a major addition, but to me, there's been a lot more.
1999 - Kali River Rapids
2002 - Dino-Rama
2006 - Expedition Everest
2014 - Harambe Theater District
2017 - Avatar

I didn't count Avatar as it isn't open yet...I'm sure it'll be great. Kali just opened late did it not, and I don't consider any of the others to be major invesments other than Everest, as nice as Harambe is.

I think it is the gap between EE in 2006 and the next new RIDE in 2017 is what people are upset about.

Absurdly ridiculous and detached from all logic for people to be "upset" at this point.

Trolling to create astroturfed rage is no longer operable. Just sad at this point. Those tropes are kaput.

Absolutely not.

Absolutely in denial to think there's no truth in this. Two new rides adding ten minutes ride time at most to the park. Think about it. Many will like the glowing plants. Many will like the mountains on sticks.

And many will want more theme park rides. Reminds of what I read on Trip Advisor this morning. "Not worth the money not enough rides" was Joe publics consensus.

Some maybe indeed be "detached from logic" though.

Yes and I am positive that the comment on TA is not from one of our resident trolls.

Anyway, reason would say that it is best to wait until the land opens to judge it. Because James Cameron.

I remember when those across the pond prided themselves and celebrated reason. What happened?

i see Pandora more as Diagon Alley where the the rides, although good, wont be the show stopper that the actual land is.
I could easily see people spending several hours walking around in the land

i think people are undervaluing the park being open at night for the first time

Oh the park does look gorgeous at night. One or two areas im sure will get the lighting attention they need.
DAK may be one of our favorite parks at night. All of the lighting fixtures along the pathways are clever, and in many cases, things that you don't give a second glance to during the day time. The area around Everest is magical, and Dinorama is just plain fun. The little toadstool shaped barrels around ITTBAB are so beautiful when lit. I can't wait to enjoy DAK again at night!!!

It's hilarious how hard some people on here are trying to spin an all new enormous and immersive land as a negative. But yeah, you're logical and all. Congrats?
