errare humanum est. I have noticed that all buses are taking the route I mentioned. so I was wrong in that aspect.
anyway.. they seem to be working all days, even today morning.
they seem to have added a new row of metal bars to the main pillars.
the medium sized crane was again working non stop, the bigger ones were not moving.

also again, sorry for posting raw photos. no tools to edit right now.

I would say part of the E-ticket. If you look at the plans on the previous page you can see that the is a piece of the E-Ticket that juts out behind the boat ride that will contain the electrical rooms.

Thanks @Cesar R M for this and all the other pics you've been posting. Seems like, from your posts on other threads, you are all over WDW the last few days. Have fun! :)

Once they close in the back of the building we won't be able to see much more from this angle.
How sealed do you expect the building to be before they start mobilizing the internal ride mechanism? Will it be something that they can bring in through a large door, or will it need to be lowered in from the top?

i would expect it to come in crates, through a service door, say 10x10. otherwise you would have to rip off the curtain wall(not to mention the screens themselves) to replace and or work on larger parts.

I agree with this. You would also want the building to be fairly weather proof before you starting putting in the ride system.

Indeed. Building will be weather-tight before the ride system goes in. They'll either have a hoist system built into the steel framework of the building, or the ride system will come in small enough pieces that they can assemble it via boom or scissor lifts.

They learned that the hard way. They left 7.6 million dollars of new fangled projectors out in the rain. The decision to put them by the old CMM restrooms just 3 days after CMM closed has been questioned by many.

It is visible from the monorail and you can also see backstage elements of Cars Land from Mickey's Ferris wheel (or at least you could in summer 2012 when I was there).

From what location on the Monorail path is this visible? I'm really having trouble conceptualizing this, as the back wall primarily faces Katella, and is on the opposite side of the park from Monorail.

I'm curious about the screens. I'm assuming the screens on this thing are going to be large right? I'm not sure how they built Soarin', but I think that for the omnimax screens in Horizons, they had to build the screens before they finished the building around them, if my memory serves me correctly. I feel like I either read that in an Epcot book or it was in @marni1971 s ultimate tribute video.

The screens can (and should) be installed once the buildings weathertight.

They're basically a framework that's assembled in the building that the perforated screen is attached to.

the only thing in WDW that needs to open the building roof to work on/replace, IIRC, is the huge sheet panes in HM for the Peppers' ghost effect in the ballroom.
