if the E ticket building will be as tall as believed the Mountains have to be pretty tall to cover it

We don't actually know for sure how tall the E-ticket building will be, the plans only show the foot print not side elevation. The plans do show 3 floors, so if we assume 12' per floor that is still much shorted then the 143' that has been quoted for the floating mountains.

I thought Robert Niles gave a detailed description of the building on his website

Another site, who shall not be named here, has a ton of hi-res aerial photos taken this morning, apparently.
They are awesome! Everyone here needs to go look. Lots of cool zoomed in details.

Sorry I can't link to it. If you Google "Nick LoCicero aerial" you could and should find your way there.

A few things struck me from looking at them.

-it looks like a lovely morning there. :)

-There will have to be some rock wall work done to hide the Rainforest Cafe's backside.

-looks like they are almost exclusively driving pilings. I think perhaps some of the tire tracks might denote
pathways in the eventual land, as they drive around where structures are going to be built, though.

-That corner group of trees loooks to be staying, and the road doesn't look to be moving, either.

-Lots of trailers in the Northwest corner. I'm going to guess that that area will remain a backstage
area when the land opens, and that it won't be a part of the show.

-Probably not enough room for a coaster . . . :/

Cool pictures! Two of the cranes in the picture appear to be doing grouting for the purposes of earth stabilization. They basically drill a hole and force a thin concrete mixture down into in. The pairs of cement mixers near each crane would indicate that this is what is happening as opposed to driving piles.

You can also see a lot of concrete drainage pipe around the site, so they are starting to install the drainage infrastructure.

The buildings to the north have been there since at least 1999, so the question is are they remaining long term. It's possible that they are just being left there temporarily and will eventually be removed. Which trees are you refereeing to?

Do you mean the area with workers and the red forklift? If so I though that area was interesting also because of the large number (appear to be at least 12) or workers is a very small area.

Those trailers used to serve as offices for the entertainment and photography departments. I believe those departments have moved into the backstage areas of the new FOLK building. The old trailers are now behind the construction fence and are being used by the construction crews.
