Attractions that you always skipped.

I always skip Star Tours after I rode it once and it made me so sick. I drank way too much coffee that morning at Dixie Landings' food court and it did not settle well on that ride. I skip it every time since then.

I can't do Star Tours either :hurl:
I've never experienced Country Bears (heck I've never noticed where the entrance is to this attaction)
Once was enough for Stitch (never did X-T - too scaried)
Just say "no" to It's a Small World
My kids are too big now for Toon Town
I saw Impressions de France once (it had the same effect on me as Star Tours)
Usually skip the cycle rides; Dumbo, Aladdin, Triceratops Spin (take too long to load) - exception; the rockets in Tomorrowland
Haven't been to the Tiki room since I was 11
Swiss Family Robinson (skip it)
Never been to Tom Sawyer Island

and I am not a big Animal Kingdom person..except for the safari and I will do Everest

All presidents work when they go to spend time at their own home. (which is where they all seem to "vacation.") Bill Clinton, however, did not own a house while he was in office. It's possible he did work during his Vineyard vacations, but hm, I don't think I heard much bellyaching about him being on vacation!

I'm actually very surprised at how much people skip. When I go there the goal is to try to experience just about everything. I do have some exceptions, but they're mostly just basic carnival attractions (and they're almost exactly the same as the ones here at Disneyland, so they get "if there's time" status):
Magic Kingdom: Dumbo, Aladdin's Flying Carpets (though I intend to do this one on the next visit just because I like the way it looks), Rocket Jets (or is it Astro Orbitor now?), King Arthur's Carousel, the Teacups, and the Indy Speedway (another I intend to try next time I'm there). I am currently avoiding Hall of Presidents, though I have seen it on three different trips. And for some reason I've never found the time to get to Tom Sawyer's Island...though again, I intend to next time.
EPCOT: Honey, I Shrunk the Audience (an okay show, but it's the same as the one in Disneyland). I'd avoid Test Track because I feel it's subpar as a World of Motion replacement and not the least bit futuristic, but with single rider I can do it in less than 10 minutes, so why not? I guess I won't get to do Wonders of Life anymore. Sigh.
Disney-MGM: I will in future trips NOT be going to Lights, Motors, Action again (what a waste of an hour). I wish I'd had the chance to get to Millionaire, but I mistakenly went with LMA because California Adventure had a Millionaire, too. If I'd only known they were going to kill it. And future rides on Rock n' Rollercoaster will involve a Walkman or MP3 player with much better music.
Animal Kingdom: Triceratops Spin. I'm not a fan of Chester n' Hester's Dino-rama! either, but I will go on Primeaval Whirl. I am glad Tarzan Rocks! is gone, as it would make the list of never agains if it were still open.

On our last visit we missed:

Dumbo, Flying Carpets, Astro Orbitor, Carousel, Teacups, Indy Speedway, Hall of Presidents, Tom Sawyer's Island, Honey, I Shrunk the Audience, Triceratops Spin.....I think that's it.

I've done the Speedway, HISTA and TSI before, but the others I don't think I've EVER been on!

There are several attractions we have skipped, but since we've been there 3 years in a row, on our next trip in 2007 we will hit a lot of these attractions that we always miss:
Tom Sawyer Island (never been on it; I just want to do it at least once)
Peter Pan
Country Bears
Stitch
Liberty Belle
Snow White
Tomorrow Land Transit

And also get a Dole Whip; never had one.:p

I stay away from the Tea Cups as I find it hard to walk or see straight after I've ridden them in the past. I never miss the Hall of Presidents, but it's going to be down during our trip next week, darn it. (Yes, I'm one of those people who gets teary eyed during anything of a patriotic nature, even the National Anthem. After having lived overseas, it's a reminder of how fortunate we all are to live in a country where you can express your own opinion.) I'm debating on avoiding Mission: Space. I have controlled high blood pressure, so I'm a little leery. I guess I'll wait outside while DH rides it.

WDW here we come!

For the past 6 years, I have been enjoying The Hall of Presidents after having missed it for 8 years prior:cool: I just love it when Maya Angelou says: "Ladies and Gentlemen the Presidentsss of the United States." *chills* Like them or hate them, they are each one of only 43 people to hold that office in 200+ years.

As for skipping rides, sometimes a weekend trip doesn't allow you to see everything and some things only need to be seen once every couple of years. I tend to revisit some attractions when joined by someone who is new to WDW.

On a regular basis though, I skip every simulator ride. I don't consider Soarin' to be a simulator ride, even though it has mild qualities of one; so I love that.

I can never do Tower of Terror again; not since they went to the random drop sequence.

I can't handle spinning, so Tea Cups is out.

No Stitch or Honey I Shrunk the Audience or Bug's Life. I freak out at the mice in HISTA, so I was told to skip Alien, now Stitch and Bug's Life.

With all this talk of skipping things, in my personal opinion, if an attraction consistently doesn't draw a crowd, then it should be changed. For example: I LOVE Figment, the old version and the new version, however, if no one rides it, change the attraction. I used to skip The Living Seas. However, with all the new additions, I will have to go check it out.

I've never done the American Adventure at EPCOT. We did the Hall of Presidents in 2003, but the wife kept falling asleep because, as she says, I "drag her around" all over the place. LOL For some reason, we skipped that one in 2004, even though we spent 2 days at that park. Maybe it's because I didn't want to let her fall asleep in the happiest place on Earth.

This trip, I made a conscious effort to go on some of the attractions that i "always" skip. So for the first time in many many many many years, i did The American Adventure, Its a Small World, Country Bear Jamboree, Teacups, Dinosaur, and the Indiana Jones Stunt Show.

Really glad that i decided to hit them again. I'm not even sure why i didn't in the past (well, Dinosaur because i rode it back in '97 when it was the super scary CTX version) but i had a great time on all of them (even Small World)!

I'm amazed at how many people on this board have never been to Tom Sawyer Island. It's a classic. I may not do it every trip but it certainly is a unique experience. I especially love the windmill (inside you will find references to Disney's Silly Symphony "The Old Mill"), the cave, the secret passageway out of the fort, making my wife get sick on the barrel bridge and especially firing those fake guns!

Now, for the attractions I skip...

That's about all I can come up with. :D

Truthfully, though we inevitably miss an attraction or two, we try to catch everything!

I admire visitors like you! I don't have it in me to attempt to do everything. That's what future trips are for :)

We usually skip:

MK- Dumbo, Carpets, Speedway, Carousel, Grotto

Epcot - Lion King in the Land, HISTA, movies in the WS (not intentionally but for lack of time)

MGM - If I had to give up a park, this would be it. Whether I go or not depends on who I'm visiting the World with... I could more easily list the few attractions I enjoy here!:lookaroun

AK - I haven't been enough to say I "skip" anything. I don't intend to ever spend time in the Dino-rama area though.:hurl:
