I'm guessing so!Yea, the wooden model? But have we seen scenes like Under the Sea and the Intro?
It'll be like SWSA but longer, more elaborate and just...better?:lookaroun:lol:
I'm guessing so!Yea, the wooden model? But have we seen scenes like Under the Sea and the Intro?
This is it when Dumbo is taken south. I THINK this is accurate. If not, sorry . Pretty Sure The railroad is a cottage theme, so it Pixie Hollow might streath east a bit.
Great job, I think that is pretty close. The concept art shows PH taking up most of your expansion area. But that may be because the rumored dark ride is true.
Of note, I think anything that extends past MK drive will have to be entirely indoors because of the fireworks. But that would not rule out such things as a BatB dark ride, A LM stage show and/or restaurant and a Pixie themed dark ride someday. That is another reason I see this plan as so incredible. It really is forward looking. And the World Showcase pavilion analogy works perfectly. Can't wait!
Ugh, I hope Tink doesn't take up all that space! A Tink dark ride is a bit overboard considering all of the other options they have.
I am of the opinion PPF should be converted into an E ticket and placed there and then the original ride building converted into something else.
Could you imagine something on the scale of Pirates but instead you "fly" through the attraction in the manner of PPF or ET at Universal.
THAT would be amazing!
I guess that'd be cool, but I've been pulling for a Mary Poppins E Ticket :shrug:

That could work. Although Disney has never seemed interested in a MP franchise. I think they view it as a one time classic that they will only mess up if they tried to expand on it. However....
UK pavilion Epcot? :shrug:

Is the whole story for the ride unknown? I've seen Kiss the Girl concept art, but is that all we know?
:ROFLOL::brick::ROFLOL:Basic rundown from Concept art and :
- Enter castle, maybe explore the interior, go on a dock of some-sort (Scuttle?) and enter clammobile.
- Ariel looks at Eric's ship and says something along the lines of "Gosh I wish I could be part of HIS world!!1!"
- Dive underwater and enter Ariel's Grotto. Cue "Part of Your World".
-King Triton basically says "ZOMG NO HUMAN 4 U!" and zaps the Eric statue, somehow segway-ing into "Under The Sea".
- Ariel makes a bet with Ursula (3 days on land, poopsie, or you belong to me, KEEP SINGING! etc.), then Ursula views her "crystal bubble" and sees "Kiss de Girl".
-"Kiss de Girl" takes place.
- Ursula screams "YOURE TOO LATE!!! PWNED!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!" and gets fat. She's struck by lightning and Ariel and Eric get married.
- GIFTSHOP.
It's a trackless ride similar to Pooh's Hunny Hunt retelling the story of everyone's favorite mermaid. Enjoy!
Facade
Where the Ariel meet-n-greet is now, the facade would look like a shipwreck (i.e. Eric's ship). It would consist of the bow of the ship sticking out of the ground as well as some assorted side pieces covering the show building, along with the current foliage.
Queue
Starting from the old meet-n-greet, it would consist of a small outdoor portion for busy days with lush foliage and ivy sprawling down rock formations. Small waterfalls with beautiful fiber-optic lighting embedded into the rocks and waterfalls would give the area beautiful ambiance at night. You enter the show building from a large hole in the crashed bow. Inside that small area are some shelves and supply boxes scattered around. You then enter the main queue which is themed after a beach, similar to the new The Seas with Nemo and Friends queue. There are no signs of humans except for the line barriers (themed after large wooden poles and rope looping them together) and large pieces of crashed ship, which also act like barriers. The lighting is similar to that in the daytime, with the sun beating down and a slight breeze. Further into the queue you can see the Prince's castle in the distance on a cliff overlooking the ocean. Venture even farther into the beach, and see a sand dune with a large wooden pole in it. Perched on it is no other than Scuttle! He's a Autonomatronic and he talks using pre-recorded phrases. He always comes around to the fact that the shipwreck is of Prince Eric's ship. When he can't interact with people, he has a pre-recorded set of phrases. While walking through the beach, you can find Eric's dog, Max (also an Autonomatronic) llooking at the people on line and panting, wagging his tail, etc. Finally you get to the load area.
Load
The load is right at the edge of the "ocean", so the floor is blue. Remember, no track. Behind the load is a cave. A large entrance into the cave is covered by a waterfall that changes different colors of blue ala the Little Mermaid Show at DHS. You can see 3 ride vehicles at a time enter the cave as the waterfall stops flowing and reveals an opening door with a projected bubble pattern on it that changes different colors of blue. (Yes, a real waterfall. I’m not sure if they can do this, but it’s been done in Universal’s Barney show and I can’t see why it couldn’t work here. Perhaps the waterfall’s trough could move up as the doors open?) A large sand dune obscures something behind it as three vehicles at a time turn to face it on the other side just after they exit the load area. More on that later. The cars themselves resemble Shell Chariots, as there is a large shell “flair” in the back of the car and 3 rows of 2, therefore each car holds 6 each. 3 cars go out at a time, so capacity is very good.
The Ride
P.S. IMPORTANT: All figures in this ride are lip-moving, breathing animatronics. Each of the scenes are classified as either a “move-through scene”, which you pass through while moving, a “stop scene” where the cars stop in front of an animatronic for a show scene, or a “roaming scene”, where the cars split up and see different things in the same room. Each ride is different!
Scene 1: Station and Eric Washed Up: Stop scene
When you get nice and comfortable in your Shell Chariots seat, you notice a surround sound like quality version of “Fathoms Below” playing softly as background music. It’s coming from the speakers inside your chariot. There are 2 speakers in the front, 1 embedded into the top of the shell flair, and 2 in the back. There are also 2 head speakers. There are also, of course, speakers hidden thru ought the ride. The lap bars come down, not snugly, but just blocking off your exit of the chariot. As you begin moving, the in-chariot speakers start playing the instrumental swell of the intro to “Part of your World”. The music immediately dies down as your chariot and the other 2 also coming along turn to the other side of the sand dune you previously saw in line. Why are you turning to a sand dune? Oh, Ariel’s behind there! You catch a glimpse of Ariel singing to Prince Eric, replicating the part of the movie where Ariel is on the beach after she rescues him and he starts becoming conscious again. She sings:
Ariel (Singing): What would I give to live where you are? What would I pay to stay here beside you? What would I do to see you, smiling at me? Where would we walk, Where would we run, if we could stay all day in the sun? Just you and me, and I could be… part of your world!
Eric: That voice…
The onboard music swells again as you start moving again, playing the Part of your World intro.
Scene 2: Underwater: Move-through Scene
The score is playing as you move in front of the waterfall (changing shades of blue due to lighting). The waterfall parts like a curtain as you see the door behind it open revealing a large bubble wall. This effect would be made similarly to the 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea ride in Tokyo, where 2 large pains of acrylic would sandwiched together and bubbles would be forced through them, creating a sort of “bubble wall”. There are lots of blue lights and water globos here. There are about 3 bubble walls here, so the chariots move in an S pattern in between them, fully immersing you in bubbles. Finally you come out of the scene and go into…
Scene 3: Part of your World: Roaming Scene
It seems like you landed in Ariel’s cavern, as all around you are gagets and gizmos aplenty. You can hear “Part of your World” playing in the backround. There are shelves filled with items and little holes in the cavern containing even more human stuff. Ariel herself is sitting on a rock in the side of the cavern holding up a spoon, periodically talking about her love of the human world to whoever’s passing by. Because this is a roaming room, I have 3 possible ride descriptions out of the infinite possible programs made by the computer.
~~~~~~
1. You enter the cavern and head straight for Ariel. She says:
Ariel: Have you ever seen anything like it? Wow!
You then move over to the center of the room and spin around slowly to get a good look at it.
Finally you go over to a small briefcase-like box and it opens up revealing her “Thingamabobs”. The top lifts up and 3 shelves come out revealing various shiny human objects. A spray of bubbles comes out of the box and you start to leave the area.
~~~~~~
2. You enter the cavern and move to the center of the room and spin around slowly to get a good look at it.
Next you go towards a music box with 2 people spinning inside it (Hey, is that Cinderella and Prince Charming?) and Flounder watching. He says:
Flounder: Cool! I wonder what it’s like up there…
Then you go over to Ariel and she says:
Ariel: I wonder what this does…It’s so amazing!
You then start to leave the area.
~~~~~
3. You enter the cavern and move towards a treasure chest. It opens up and inside is a large magnifying glass magnifying Sebastian’s eyes. He gasps and the glass sinks into the treasure. Sebastian says:
Sebastian: Teenagers. You give them an inch and they swim all over you.
The chariot then heads over to Ariel and she says:
Ariel: The world up there is so mysterious! I wonder what else is there…
Finally, you move to the center of the room and spin around slowly to get a good look at it and leave the area.
~~~~
Scene 4: Ariel’s Father: Move-through/stop scene
The lights dim on the Part of your World scene as you go into a small S shaped cavern. You over hear this conversation on the chariot’s speakers:
Ariel: Daddy, no!
Triton: Enough! The human world is no place for a mermaid like you!
Ariel: But I love him!
Triton: No daughter of mine is going to marry a human!
By this time all 3 chariots will have entered the room and see Triton holding his trident at Ariel’s Eric statue. The lights grow dim and a cool lighting effect comes from the trident to the statue. Smoke and bubbles are visible as the statue becomes engulfed in fiber-optic lighting. A large explosion is heard as the chariots file out of the room. Strobe lighting can be seen coming from the statue as you enter the next room.
As you exit the last scene your chariot turns around (your'e now moving backwards) in order to catch one last glimpse of the smoke and strobe-filled room. What you don't see is that a door opens behind you and lets you into the next room. The door has a "kelp curtian" covering it so that the door is disguised in true Little Mermaid fashion.
Scene 5: Part of Your World Reprise (Ariel on the rock): Stop scene
Your Chariots gather around 3 color-changing waterfalls (The same effect as the first one) making a sort of semi-circle connecting to a cavern wall. There's something behind them. On the other side of the wall ajacent to the door you just came through is another door covered by a kelp curtain. Around it is an arch of rock and a small rock jutting out from it. The waterfalls stop flowing as you get sprayed by a light mist of water and bright white-yellow lighting appears on Ariel, who is lying on a rock as she does in her famous scene from the movie. The backdrop behind her is the ocean. As you can see, you have been transported "over water". She sings:
Ariel: I don't know when, I don't know how, but I know something's starting right now, watch and you'll see, someday I'll be... part of your world!
The cymbals crash as the waves crash into her rock ala The Seas marquee. The music dies down as Sebastian appears on the small rock on the other doorway. The intro to "Under the Sea" can be heard. Ariel looks over at him and he says:
Sebastian:Ariel, listen to me, the human world, it's a mess! Life under the sea is better than anything they got up there!
Ariel: Oh, Sebastian!
The kelp curtain parts as the color-changing waterfalls go on again, except they start changing into purple, pink, red, green, yellow, orange, and blue. A mist of water and bubbles hits you as you go throught the door.
Scene 6: Under the Sea!: Roaming Scene
You hear a loop of "Under the Sea" play as you enter a large room with different colors of party lights moving around the room. There are several characters around the room. Sebastian is at the far end of the room conducting the song. This roaming scene is a bit different than the other one. First, each car goes to their "special effect"
~~~~~~
1. One chariot goes over to a conga line of fish. Off to the side of the conga line is the green "Blackfish" with the conch shell hat and bright red lipstick.(Yes, that's her real name, I checked the lyrics.) She's spinning around Flounder who's saying:
Flounder: WOoOah! I think I'm gonna be sick!
Blackfish: WAAAAAAA!!!!
The chariot then enters the center of the room.
~~~~~~
2.This chariot goes towards the Octopus playing the drums and the Fluke (Who's the duke of soul!)with the little tuft of red hair and the saxaphone. The Octopus starts playing the drums with all 8 legs as the Fluke takes the saxaphone from his mouth to say:
Fluke:Yeah.
The chariot then enters the center of the room.
~~~~~~
3.This chariot heads towards the Blowfish (And oh, that Blowfish blow!) and 3 Snails. The Snail's heads sway together as they sing "Unda the sea sea sea! Unda the sea sea sea!" The Blowfish then (surprise, surprise!) blows up to a huge size (Using the umbrella effect in the Pixar Play Parade?) and a foghorn sound goes off. The chariot then enters the center of the room.
~~~~~
Now all 3 chariots are in the center of the room and they start to "dance". In other words, they make a star formation and spin around quickly, then move around each other, then form a large circle and spin around. For the finale of this show scene, the room darkens a bit and large disco balls come from the cieling. They start spinning as they create little circles on the walls of the room. Finally, bubbles start to pour into the room like nobody's business. The chariots then spin all the way to the far end of the room and go around Sebastian. The lights pulse one more time and all the lights go out except for a spoghtlight on Sebastian. He says:
Sebastian: Ariel? Ariel? Now where has she gone?
Flounder, appearing next to him, says:
Flounder: She said that she was going to see Ursula.
Sebastian: The sea witch? Oh no, the king is gonna fry me!
The spotlight goes out as the cars move to another door as the kelp curtain in front of it moves away...
Scene 7: Poor Unfortunate Souls Pt. 1: Move-through scene
Just as the kelp curtain is pulled away, You see 2 cavern walls on either side of you. A couple of feet awat you can see Ursula's cave. Green ambiant lighting lights up the two side walls next to you. Floatsam pops out of one of them, Jetsam pops out of another. Their eyes glow an eerie yellow. They start talking:
Floatsam: ...If only there was some way we could help her...
Jetsam: ...But there is...
You then start moving towards the cave enterance. On the ground you can see some of Ursula's past "poor unfortunate souls", little seaweed creatures. While going twards the cave you hear on your audio:
Ursula: The only way to get what you want is to become a human yourself...
Ariel: Can you do that?
Ursula: That's what I do, that's what I live for! Now, you'll have three days for him to kiss you on the lips. If you can't do that... then you belong to me. Now all I want from YOU is a small token, a trifle, really... your voice. Now, do we have a deal?
You then arrive at the cave, which is where the next scene takes place.
Scene 7: Poor Unfortunate Souls (Pt. 2): Stop Scene
Where we last left off, we were going through Ursula's soul garden and were just about to enter the cave. Now we're in the cave. All around us are potions and glowing jars and glass containers glowing strange colors. In front of us is a large, life-size (like everything else) Ursula animatronic. Next to her sitting on a rock is Ariel. Ursula's cauldron is NOT here. When we left off, Ursula said:
Ursula: Do we have a deal?
Ariel: If I become human... I'll never be with my father or sisters again...
Ursula: But you'll have your man! Or are you going to let your father control your life forever? Life's full of tough choices, inn'nt it? Yes or no?
Ariel: ...
Ursula: Come on, you poor unfortunate soul! Go ahead! Make your choice! I'm a very busy woman and I haven't got all day,
It won't cost much... just your voice. You poor unfortunate soul, it's sad, but true, if you want to cross a bridge, my sweet, you've got to pay the toll.
(At this point Flotsam and Jetsam come out of the wall near Ursula and stare down Ariel. She's looking scared and angry. The contract scroll comes down in front of Ariel. The lights all go out except for yellow lights on the scroll, purple lights on Ursula, green lights on Flotsam and Jetsam, their yellow eye lights and Ursula's necklace's yellow shell light. All of this happens very quickly while Ursula sings.)
Ursula: Take a gulp and take a breath and go ahead and sign the scroll!Flotsam, Jetsam, now I've got her, boys, the boss is on a roll!
This poor, unfortunate soul!
At this point Ariel's fiber-optic signature appears magically on the bottom of the scroll and it rises back up into the ceiling. The chariots move into the next scene through an entrance in the cave as the kelp curtain parts.
Scene 8: Sing!: Stop/Roaming scene
The next room is a large circular room with stalagtites and stalagmites adorning the walls and the cieling, although you can't see them that well because the room is very dark. There is also a large circular projection surface on the side of the wall and a small ramp going up to it. The focal point of the room is Ursula's huge cauldron in the center of the circular room. smoke is pouring from it, filling the air with smoke. There are also small smoke valves on the bottom of the cauldron creating a thin layer of smoke on the ground. The cauldron's smoke is lighted from the inside of the cauldron and is green. You hear Ursula sing as the kelp curtain closes behind you:
Ursula: Beluga, sevruga, come winds of the Caspian Sea (You feel a blast of air),Larynxes, glacydis, ad max laryngitis la voce to me! Now, sing.
As Ariel sings (Ahhh,Ahhhhh,Etc.) you start spinning around. Because when this ride opens the show at DHS would obiouslly close, I'm going to steal the lasers from the show and put them into this room. So, as you spin around, on the large circular screen would be a laser projection of Ursula. Because the smoke from the cauldron would fill the air, the "wave lasers" that made you feel like you were underwater turn on as she starts singing. These lasers are situated at the top of the room, but they're on a track. Out of the cauldron would come an oversized version of Ursula's necklace shell. It would light up after Ariel stops singing and make it's way back into the cauldron. After she stops singing, the chariots stop spinning. Replacing the Ursula laser projection would be a traditional projection of Ariel's silouhhete turning from mermaid to human. As this happens, the "wave lasers" would travel down their track and finally stop at floor level. In short, it would give you the effect of surfacing over the water. A blast of water would hit your face as the lasers come to eye level. The chariots then turn toward the screen as a montage of scenes showing Ariel meeting Eric as human flash upon the screen as "Part of your World" plays, including Ariel at the dinner table combing her hair, Ariel and Eric in their coach touring the town, and others, ending with Sebastian saying something like:
Sebastian: If this is what you want, we have to help you.
Finally, the music stops and the screen splits in 2 revealing the next door.
Scene 9: "Kiss the Girl": Move-through scene
Note: This scene is almost exactlly like the scene in the Little Mermaid DVD. You can find this video on youtube.
You pause in front of a large weeping willow dimly lit with 2 birds on either side of the tree. A spotlight suddenly appears on Scuttle, who's standing just to the side of the chariots. He says:
Scuttle: Hey Flounder! Any kissing?
Next the 2 birds draw back the weeping willow leaves and a scene of fish singing around Ariel and Eric's ship is revealed. Sebastian is on a reed next to the boat whispering "Kiss de girl!" in Eric's ear. You can see the sun just about to touch the water in the distance (a lighting effect) as the fish that surround the boat (one of them being Flounder) spit water over them creating an effect similar to Splash Mountain's "Laughin' Place" effect, except instead of going over your head, they go over Ariel and Eric's head. Just as Ariel and Eric lean in together, the lighting effect of the sun touches the water and all of the lights go off (except for the sun) and strobe lights go off as thunder can be heard. You hear Ursula scream:
Ursula: Now I am the ruler of the sea! Next time, sweetie, read your contract!
Scene 10: Ursula's Revenge: Roaming scene
As you enter the scene the first thing you see is the B.A.U. or the Big.... um.. Huge Ursula. She has the giant trident (part of it is sticking into the ground... ocean... whatever.) and the big crown. They're both glowing. Similar to the Heffalump car in Pooh's Hunny Hunt in Tokyo, there's a dingy holding Eric who's holding a large spiked piece of wood. He's twisting and turning around violently in the storm. There is thunder and lightning in the sky. There are several giant rocks in the ground that carry little surprises...
~~~~~~~
1. The first chariot spins around Eric's boat and then stops at a rock, as if the chariot crashed into it. From the ground several spritzes of water hit your head and Eric's ship comes over. Eric says:
Eric: We don't have much time!
~~~~~
2. This chariot heads immedietely toward a rock, where Floatsam and Jetsam pop out. A scrim attached from the cieling to the rock serves as a projector for a lightning bolt. It shocks the eels and the retreat back into the rock. Ursula screams "MY POOPSIES!" Then it spins around Eric's dingy.
~~~~~~
3. This last chariot goes right next to a rock at the start of the scene. Ursula says "Fools!" and Ursula shocks the chariot courtesy of a scrim attached to the cieling and the rock. :fork: The rock and the "water" around the chariot explode in strobe lighting and the chariot makes a shocking sound. The chariot is carried by the water right in front of Ursula, where it is caught in a "whirlpool (the ground is flat)" and spins around violently. A lighting effect intensifies the whirlpool.
Finally, the 3 chariots gather together in front of Ursula. You see Eric stab the wood into Ursula, and lightning strikes her at the same time. Owch. :dazzle: A projection of her skeleton appears on her as she gets shocked. She says:
Ursula: NOOOOOOOOO!
You move into a small cave behind Ursula as the final scene starts.
Scene 11: Finale: Stop Scene
You are over water as you see King Triton's torso above water, Flounder's head above water, and Sebastian on a small rock next to him. The scene is dark-ish except for some lights on them. The strains of "Part of your World" can be heard in the backround as King Triton (with his tritdent and crown :king: ) asks to Sebastian:
Triton: They really love each other, don't they?
Sebastian: Why, yes, your magasty, they do.
Triton: You know what Sebastian?
Sebastian: What?
Triton: Sometimes... you just have to let them go.
Sebastian: Oh, I just love happy endings!
Triton waves his trident and your chariots turn around to see Ariel and Eric's giant wedding boat and the people of Atlantica in the water waving to the boat. Ariel and Eric are in the back of the boat in their wedding finery, waving back and to us. You hear the angelic Disney Chorus sing:
Now we can walk,
Now we can run,
Now we can stay
All day in the sun,
Just you and me....
And we can be...
Part of your world!!!!!! :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:
:lookaroun
A rainbow appears over the boat as Triton waves his trident again and several archs of real water soar over your head as a "kiss goodbye" effect and you enter the loading area. And into the gift shop. So that's the end of my ride, I hope you liked it!
THE END!!!!!
^ Always happy to provide teh humors. But nobody's doubting that to happen, right?
And here's a version that I made completely on my own (I happen to think it pwns):
Basic rundown from Concept art and :
- Enter castle, maybe explore the interior, go on a dock of some-sort (Scuttle?) and enter clammobile.
- Ariel looks at Eric's ship and says something along the lines of "Gosh I wish I could be part of HIS world!!1!"
- Dive underwater and enter Ariel's Grotto. Cue "Part of Your World".
-King Triton basically says "ZOMG NO HUMAN 4 U!" and zaps the Eric statue, somehow segway-ing into "Under The Sea".
- Ariel makes a bet with Ursula (3 days on land, poopsie, or you belong to me, KEEP SINGING! etc.), then Ursula views her "crystal bubble" and sees "Kiss de Girl".
-"Kiss de Girl" takes place.
- Ursula screams "YOURE TOO LATE!!! PWNED!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!" and gets fat. She's struck by lightning and Ariel and Eric get married.
- GIFTSHOP.
It's funny, because in all likelihood it'll be true. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
Can all the characters talk like?:
Ariel: "Legs, FTW."
here is the whole ride.
Ummmm... WHY is Poor Unfourtunate Souls there??????? Make NO sense. Maybe they're shoehorning Giant Ursula in-between Part of Your World & Finale??
