Room was empty, and I actually put my ear to the floor. Guess it wasn't on.
That's disgusting, do you know how many people have stepped all over that floor?
 :hurl:

Nicely done!
Woulda been nicer if the track was on.
Trust me, I had crazier escapades that day.... Most involving Tomorrowland and Benches....and Ledges....and SM.:lookaroun:lol:
*hopes AA has an awesome preshow....*
We got off of CoP and I climbed and crawled over benches trying to see over the walls. My Mom pointed and laughed. We went on Buzz. Now you have to tell the story. You can't just tease us like that.
Honestly, I kinda don't.
I want a beautifully themed queue, but I'd rather the real punch be the ride itself. Since we know it's going to be an Omnimover, a pre-show would just slow down what should be a people-eating ride.
While I wouldn't change HM for the world, it is undeniable that the streching room slows things down considerably in terms of ride capacity. An Omnimover is specifically designed to be continuously loading, and fact is even running both rooms at once it rarely actually works that way.
So if you mean by "preshow" all the neat stuff you see on the way through the queue, then I'm all for it - but I hope there is no "sit/stand in room and watch video presentation" attached - it's just going to keep the lines unnecesarily up. They can make a compelling story and "Disney" experience without stopping you all before you make it to the attraction.
There won't be a preshow. The new WDI hates them (and so do I).
... Are you the voice of Imagineers now?
If that is true, that's a sad thing. Soarin' has a preshow... that's pretty recent.
There was an interview with Tom Fitzgerald last year where they asked him and he was like "well we found that we had done too many video preshows and guests don't really like them so we are going to stop doing them from now on". Im paraphrasing but thats basically what he said. Do a google search you will probably find the interview.
I can also guarentee that Little Mermaid will not have a prewshow. It will be a themed queue but thats it.
Coming from him that means a lot. There was an interview with Tom Fitzgerald last year where they asked him and he was like "well we found that we had done too many video preshows and guests don't really like them so we are going to stop doing them from now on". .
Aww, I like the Dinosaur preshow
Sorry to hear no mor preshows. Preshows like HM, RnRC, Star Tours, UoE, and Muppets are classics! I hope they change their mind in the future.
Eh...I wouldn't call the stretch room a preshow. But that's just me.

What would you call it?

The beginning of the attraction.
For me Mansion starts the minute you pass through the front doors.
