You keep harping on all of this "negative feedback" that Disney has received and yet you can't provide any support.

Dozens of people on a discussion board with negative views? Sure, they're more than valid but how many people visited the Magic Kingdom last year?

An opinion piece in the newspaper? Again, it's valid but that doesn't translate into thousands of negative responses to the ride.

Okay excuse me, I don't have proof that there were "Thousands" of negative responses, but:

-The overall general consensus on this board is negative
-There are at least 2(possibly more) articles referring to the poor quality of the attraction and the negative feedback.
-CM's on this site have stated they've heard talks of refurbing the ride due to negative guest feedback.
-CM's on the site from guest relations stated they have gotten negative feedback(sorry can't find the thread right now)
-Someone stated earlier in this thread that there was no line for the attraction last week. This shows poor attendance, the attraction is not strong enough to bring people back.

If the negative feedback and poor reviews are enough to merit 2 articles in the local newspaper, and the amount of negative feedback has reached a level to merit some concern on WDW's part. Meaning more than a mere 2 or 3 people, that shows that the complaints have reached a critical level.

Sorry, but thats enough for me.

No one, not even myself (A Cast Member) can access any official document from the Company officially stating that we have or have not received 1000s of complaints.

I won't go into specifics, because I can't. The reactions are mixed. If you want proof, which I respect your want for solid info, I suggest going to MK if you can and spend maybe an hour at the exit of SGE and listen closely to the guests as they leave. I know it sounds silly, but if you want proof, go to the source.

I am not trying to prove that SGE is strongly disliked by the majority, nor am I trying to prove that is strongly liked by the majority. I just wanted to point out that it is nearly impossible for anyone of us to prove that there have or have not been 1000s of complaints.

There are worse things in the world to be “sick” of than an animated character. If you don’t like Stitch, walk on by, there are plenty more characters and attractions in the parks for you to enjoy.

There's a problem with that statement though....you CANNOT walk on by without seeing something with Stitch on it.

I had been a big fan of the character (quickly became my second favorite, behind Goofy of course) before this ridiculous advertising campaign began. Now, I can't stand him.

Funny thing is though, I've been on SGE during all of my park visits (and I DESPISE this attraction) since it opened..... :lookaroun

After riding SGE, every time I rode the monorail and the guy said, "And you won't want to miss Stitch's Great Escape," I always told everybody in my car, "Yes you want to miss it. Trust me."

That's pretty funny.

I really liked Stitch in the movie, but they completely blew it with him at the parks. First off, they got rid of one of the best rides ever to be imagineered, AE, second, I they sell way too much stitch merchandise, third, "WELCOME TO STITCH KINGDOM?!" SHUT UP FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!!!!!

Hey even I like to watch a bad movie sometimes. Sometimes the hardest I've laughed in a theater were at movies that weren't ment to be funny (The Punisher and The Manchurian Candidate come to mind).

And I'd say the reason you see SGE is the same reason most people like NASCAR: "Everyone loves to watch a wreck" :animwink:

That's just my point. :)

And I'm not attempting to argue that Stitch is a great ride or that it isn't. I myself haven't been on it yet because the two times that I have visited the park since it opened the lines have been over an hour wait.

I haven't seen the movie(s) of Stitch and I'm getting bored of him all ready.

What a shame. Lilo & Stitch is a very good movie. It is just what has happened to him since that makes me upset.

That was what I was pointing out in my previous post. When a new ride opens, everyone wants to ride it to see what all the hype is about. After the initial "honeymoon" phase, thats when you can really tell the rerideability of an attraction. This ride obviously doesn't have any rerideability, as someone stated eariler that there is no longer a line for this ride. If you didn't read it here:

I just got home from Disney and the amount of stitch junk that was all over the park was jsut irritating.............................and it's clear that all this overadvertising isnt' doing much, since every time I walked past that ride the line was empty.

If the length of the line for an attraction is your proof that it is a good attraction, then this should prove that SGE sucks. IT NO LONGER HAS A LINE!!!

Lots of rides at this time of year will have no lines, so by that logic most rides suck. ;)

That's a totally illogical argument. I've walked on POTC without a line. Does it suck?

I've walked on Spaceship Earth without a line. Does it suck?

I've walked on The Haunted Mansion, Buzz Lightyear, Splash Mountain, and Dinosaur without lines. Do they suck?

And, to top it off, I actually waited in a rather long line for that temporary Haunted Mansion movie set exhibit they had at Disney-MGM for a few months. Personally, I thought that sucked but there was a line so I must be wrong.
