My Uncle took me to a few celtic games in the 80's and I was a huge Atlanta Hawks fan. I wore my Hawks shirt at Boston Garden when they played the celtics, and cheered everytime Dominque Wilkins scored. That was fun.:zipit:The worst part was I was sitting with season ticket holders and they were not happy with the 10 year old girl cheering for the hawks in their territory. Mind you I was born and raised in Boston.
Why we never threw you out of the family for that I'll never know.

I am torn! I am originally from the San Francisco Bay Area and I was spoiled by the Best team in history! Joe Montana, Ronnie Lott, Jerry Rice etc...etc...
Now we have moved to what used to be the biggest enemies territory, Denver! So I like the Broncs cause they always on the tube here and we see nothing but the Broncos and never really see much of the Niners who actually disappeared from the football greats for a long time. I am a Fortyniner faithful, just cause! But I have to say, I do like the Broncs a LOT. We have some GREAT players like Champ Bailey and a new QB, Jay Cutler, who looks okay so far. I guess I would have to go with the Broncs as my team right now, BUT we are moving when the house sells (next century in this real estate market!) and we could be back to being Niner's fans OR being Dolphin's fans, if I get my way and we move to Florida to be nearer to WDW of course!
I love foorball no matter who is playing, if it is a great game, it is fun to watch! If it is a crappy game, the channel gets changed!
Go Broncs!:lookaroun

Get Direct TV and the NFL package and start watching the Patriots. Problem solved.

Eagles uniforms today. What the--? Those are some ugly outfits. Coolest-looking unis in the NFL: Chargers, Bears and Raiders.

Do what I do, find a place that shows all the games and watch the teams you already like.

Personally, I'm a fan of the Patriots Silver Jerseys. Of course, I own the Brady jersey like that, so that could be part of it.

Ugly as sin!
But if they had anything to do with the way they played today, may they never take them off! 56-21 Eagles!

Also, those Eagles uniforms today were the throwback uniforms to the really old days. Back before they changed to the green uniforms of today.

Anyone watching the Bucs game? It is pouring in Tampa. Wonder what it is like at WDW? Yesterday it drizzled but was not bad at all.
 We are looking good so far this season! It's nice to see Pittman and Graham have a good game. Looks like we have a pretty decent offensive live for a change--and the hard-hitting, swarming defense is back!

Yeah you know Ernest Graham was a Gator! WOOT! Remember that incident in the Gators vs FSU game where a Seminole twisted Graham's leg on purpose?:lol: Boy was Gator Nation p/o'd! My Dad gave me a signed Graham Bucs football Christmas 2005 and today it got held lovingly!

I love our O-line. They have never been this good. Yes the defense looks so great. Getting some younger guys in really helped, even tho I miss my old players still. Ruud being last week's defensive player was sweet! Remember Brooks had that for the month of October in our Super Bowl year. :D

I can "forgive" Graham for being a Gator, just as you probably embraced Warrick Dunn when he was here. :animwink: Heck, I've even learned to love Cadillac Williams after living in and rooting for Alabama for 13 years.

Now, to beat Carolina on Sunday....

Yes. They wore the uniforms to honor the 75th anniversary of the team's beginnings as the Frankford Yellow Jackets.
Still ugly, though. :lookaroun

Another great football weekend here in Tampa with the Bucs and Bulls winning. My boss gave me a couple of tickets to the Bucs game. I haven't been to a Bucs game since the first game at the new stadium in '98. I forgot how freaking hot it gets sitting in the stadium. Thank goodness it rained right before the half and it cooled off. It's nice to see the Bucs defense of old coming back. For some reason my boss won't part with his tickets for Fridays Bulls game.

As I was out running this morning, I was wondering how many times in history that the Bucs and the Rays both won on the same day. I'll wager it's not that many.

EDIT: After doing some quick looking, I think there are 9 Sundays/Mondays where the Bucs and Rays have won on the same day. Hopefully we'll make it 10 this Sunday.

OK here is the great extent of my forgiveness: I really hope my memory serves right with where all these guys were from. If I am wrong with a few I will claim that I'm a girl and therefore should not be expected to know it all. (about football -)

Warren Sapp (Miami FL - yuck!)
Derrick Brooks (FSU - double-yuck!)
Brad Johnson (Vikings AND FSU - triple-yuck!)
Yes - Warrick Dunn - also from FSU

I think we can beat Carolina as long as they don't block all our field goals! :D
