By the way, another outstanding job by the Bears defense -- holding Larry Johnson to 55 yards! :sohappy:

And Devin Hester, you are ridiculous! One punt return for a TD. Should have had two. Only a fool would kick to Hester from here on out.

38-14... same score, beating a better team. It'll be fun to see how many games they can get the score to come out to that in a row. :D

Top 5 Best Teams in NFL (After Week 2)
1. Colts
2. Patriots
3. Cowboys
4. Steelers
5. Green Bay (I had a feeling they would have a good year)

Colts are still the best in the AFC until the Pats beat them.

Cowboys are the best team in the NFC...by far, but the best NFC team is still lightyears behind the Pats and Colts. Heck, the Texans beat the Panthers today...soundly.

As for the Saints, who knows what is going on? I was at Raymond James Stadium today, and it was a pathetic "effort" (for lack of a better word) by the Saints. I don't mind losing...well I do, but it wouldn't be as bad if we were at least competing. I think we go into the Bye week 0-3.

From Gainesville! Home of the Florida Gators. So yep this was a great and wonderful football weekend with our win over Tennessee and then the Bucs over the Saints! The rest of the NFC South did pretty poorly today :sohappy: and after today's game I am thinking it was obvious what was working for our team. We have some great new players! And some great old ones! :D
Gainesville? :lookaroun I thought we had a chance at establishing a congenial online relationship *coughSeminolescough* Florida does look good again this year. They may only lose two games this year--both to LSU. We'll see. Let's just keep rooting for the Bucs!

What did you think of the stadium? I think it's one of the nicest ones I've ever been in. Beats the pants off the S-dome (except for the heat).

I thought it was awesome, but I didn't really get to enjoy it. The atmosphere is great. The pirate ship and the whole pirate theme really helps that though. I haven't been to a game at the Dome in years, but there are some similar things we could do...have French Quarter styled balconies where they could throw beads or something...I don't know. The idea has been thrown around before but was scrapped due to cost. Hopefully, our new stadium will be the nicest in the league...otherwise, what's the point of spending all of that money?

They aren't...yet; however, it's inevitable if we want to keep them. All the ideas that have been kicked around have it on the river somewhere or replacing a housing project.
well, they've got the entire 9th Ward. Just elevate the stadium 25 feet off the ground and you've got a new place to play. ;)

If the Saints follow the pattern that is in the NFC South, they will not make the playoffs. Every team that has won the division, the Bucs (twice), Panthers and Falcons failed to make the playoffs the following year. Since 2003 the team that has finished last in the division has gone on to win the division the following year. So that means the Bucs should win it this year.
Go Bucs!!!!

HI:wave:

I would have to respectfully disagree. Just because the colts beat us last year in the afc championship game doesn't mean we have to beat them to be #1. Have you forgotten all the times the colts lost to us in regualr season and playoffs. One lost doesn't wipe all that history out. On paper and on the field the Pats are the #1 team in the NFL.

GO PATS 16-0

I've been going to a local Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the games this year since usually the Pats aren't on locally here in Buffalo. Next week I'm debating if that's going to be a good idea since the Pats are actually playing the Bills in Foxboro. I might get my butt kicked for walking in with a Brady jersey after the Pats decimate the hapless Bills... :lookaroun

I'm seeing two Bills games this year at Ralph Wilson Stadium. The first on October 21st and the second on November 18th. I know I said I wouldn't be rooting for the Bills anytime soon, but I will at the October game because it's against the Ravens and I don't want to get beaten up by the drunk Bills fans in the group I'm going with. I'll have to ride both directions in a coach bus with them all.

I can't wait until November though. I'm going to the Pats/Bills game and get to be about 10 rows from the South End Zone. :sohappy:

I hope you plan on wearing your Pats jersey at the game in November.

My Pats t-shirt, Jersey, Parka(if it's cold enough for it), probably find myself some other Pats stuff as well. My son will wear his Pats coat also.

I have an old starter jacket with the old Pat symbol on it. I only wear it to games and I have been offered a few hundred dollars for it. I love the only Pat. Love your avatar

Thanks. I was originally looking for the image of next year's NFL logo. I think I know where I can find it now, so I'll probably change it up soon. But I was happy to go with the Old School Logo for the Pats the past couple of weeks.

Edit: Yep. Found the new NFL Logo for next year.
