Christine ?? Financial Officer

We will continue to invest aggressively in these streamers (IOW, it will hit the bottom line for a few years before they're all profitable, so, stop panicking, Wall St.)

Hammering home that their new released movies will hit D+ ""exclusively"".

What are you doing for Hulu international rollout?

A. Well, we dont' own it all (yet). And there are regulatory issues. Still working on it.

A bit sad I don't see the 60s Batman show and movie as part of the Fox movies and shows unveiled on the service. Those would be big draws if Disney manages to get them on there (and I don't think WB holds streaming rights to the series, only home video rights; remember that they own the Batman IP but not the show).

Q. Looks like you bought back IP from others, did you account for that in your figures.

A. Yes.

Q. Bob, what about your contract?

A. I'm expecting contract to expire end of 2021. We're talking about successor, so...

More from Bob: This is an aggressive strategy. We're all in. (IOW, this investment will hit the bottom line for a few years, so, Wall St., don't panic.)

Q. Pricing outside the U.S. Anything more specific on international rollout? Bundle pricing?

A. The estimate of rollout was in the slides with 2/3 of subs international. Can't get too much specific.

A. Can't be specific on bundling. We're a 4 quadrant service.

A. We're seriously leveraging our brand.

[What's a 4 quadrant service?]

Q. Can you keep your Hulu content from 3rd parties from bailing on you?

A. There's no plan to change those contracts.

A. We're relying on Fox TV to make more content and make more partnerships (presumably with 3rd party studios)

Q. No ad supported service for D+? What about video games?

A. Disney Life in Europe had games, and we learned the public wasn't that interested in it. And so, we're sticking to entertainment for now.

A. We're OK with no ads. (IOW, leveraging the brand!)

Q. You giving up licensing for your own service, when will that be profitable? Will you have a common launch 'app' for all the streamers?

A. We're OK with the customer having separate services. And the bundling will be likely just in price, not in blending them.

A. We think the return for the vertical service will be more than the licensing. (Otherwise, we wouldn't have done it, DUH!)

Q. How much is the number for licensing? And how much will it become with some licensing and your vertical plans? (IOW, I'm Wall St., and I'm panicking over your switch to a new model)

A. We did our homework. So...
