Apple a future sponsor?

I know nothing of it, other than Apple is the first name that always comes up when Epcot sponsorships are discussed.
God knows they can afford it...

Don't know anything about the truth of the rumor, but I don't like the idea of apple+ imagination. I would much rather they do something new and wonderful with technology, take over innoventions and get some new and exciting ideas in there.

As much as WDI loves to say when they create attractions, "And then everything goes horribly wrong!", all they have to do is make the new ride about the vehicles being equipped with Apple Maps and guests getting lost, requiring them to use their imaginations to overcome faulty software to find their way back to Future World!

What does Apple gain by sponsoring a pavilion at Future World? How does this help brand awareness? Help the image of Apple? What does Disney gain besides cash? Apple is secretive and likes being known for designing behind closed doors. Nothing against Apple (typing this on a MacBook Pro) but I just do not see the allure of an Apple sponsorship.

Crayola would be a nice sponsor.
This is a thought that gets me excited.

Crayola would be a nice sponsor.

Crayola's actually owned by Hallmark Cards. Here in Kansas City, they've got a free children's indoor creative playground called Kaleidoscope that's very popular. The space always reminded me of the old image works mixed with toon town. Hallmark/Crayola is clearly no stranger to promoting creativity & imagination among the GP. I'd love if they sponsored the Imagination pavilion.

EDIT: Here's a link to their website: http://www.hallmarkkaleidoscope.com/. From the page, "
Kaleidoscope nourishes the creative spirit. It is a place where children are invited to be creative, have fun, and feel good about their own special ideas."

Now it is rumored/hinted at that Apple may be signing a sponsorship with Disney. Speculation is that it would be for Imagination 4.0. I figured rather than dilute threads on other topics with this we could toss around the idea here. What are your thoughts, ideas and
I for one would be very interested in Apple taking on Imagination preferably with Tony Baxter at the helm. I can imagine a sleek design and likely a pretty sweet postshow that's shows off Apple technology and its uses. Now Apple tends to be pretty close to the vest for their future projects so I also don't see them showing concept art. So it begs me to wonder whether or not they'd be the right for for the pavilion. What do you all think?
let shoot for the sky. What would fit with TDO's recent performance and track record? Ladies and gentleman, I give you Myspace Imagination.......

Yippee. My first somewhat critical post not aimed at Pecos Bills. Feels good
feels real good
