Any word on Fall Deals (4:3 deal extension maybe!?)

Does anyone have any information on if Disney is planning a Fall deal similar to its current deals? Also, when could we expect such deals to go live if they do happen?

Does anybody know if Jersey Week is generally blacked out for discounts, promos (other than AAA)?

I was thinking about getting a Disney Visa in hopes of a free dining offer, but I did notice that it was blacked out for Jersey Week last year.

TIA!

I received one of the 40% pin code flyers and Jersey week (first week of Nov) was not included in the time period when the offer was good.

To anyone who got the 40% coupons, what are the November/December dates and is this a generic offer (not AP?)? Thanks in advance for the info!

Anyone else find themselves staking out the mailbox or stalking the mail person in hopes of a discount?:ROFLOL:

The 40% off code I received lists dates of November 15-21, November 29-December 5, December 13-24.

I wanted to go the week of October 11, but that wasn't included either, so my brother and I are going the last week of September.

Question...?

In general, what's the better deal for a solo traveler? 4:3 or free dining?

I'm thinking the 4:3 since it includes the room and tickets, but any thoughts?

Also, if I were to book the 4:3 for up to Aug. 16, but later a different promotion is announced, what are the options for changing my dates to take advantage of the new promo? Any change fees imposed by Disney?

For a solo traveler, it would probably be the Buy 4 Get 3. The Buy 4 Get 3 saves you about 43%, and free dining for one person will save you $40 a day.

If you're planning on a moderate or deluxe resort, the buy 4 get 3 would definitely save you more than $40 a day. A value would make it closer, but the buy 4 get 3 would probably still win out.

As long as you are not in the cancellation penalty period when you try to change, it usually isn't a problem to switch dates. Now there are other factors for that as well, like airfare and availability. Usually though, not a problem.:)

This drives me crazy - I'd kill for that 40% pin for mid-December. We go pretty frequently yet we've never had a bounce back or other offer with a pin in the last 6 years. Who knows how they decide how those go out? Does geo have anything to do with it?
