Disney never verified a date yet... where did you get that information?
Yes they did. A spokesperson from Disney verified the closure date during a recent interview with the Orlando Sentinel.

Like the lack of other quality attractions?

I love Epcot. But it's not realy a rider's paradise.
This assumes a level of quality that I don't think is there in Test Track. I would edit your sentence thusly:

GLaDOS said:Yea. If they had added instead of replaced, it would really be a perfect park today. Such a shame.
I would hardly call it an "interview." My guess is that it was a call or e-mail to guest services. If it was an interview there would be more information, or at least a name.
At Epcot we'll take what we can get.
If it does infact go down for refurb April 16th - what are the chances it will be up and running for Epcot's 30th Anniversary?
It'd be nice if the Park was in tip top shape for that...but then again that would involve a redo of JIT wouldn't it....:lookaroun
Go ahead and call guest services ... you'll spend an hour on the phone only to find out they are in the dark about it too.
Jason Garcia is a regular poster here on these forums, Im sure he could tell you exactly who it was that was interviewed, or commented, or whatever wording you choose to use on how they got their information.
We will just have to wait till 4/16/12 to know for sure.
Every legitimate source (Disney web site, calendar or named authority) doesn't.
You can deny all you want, but it will still close then. Why would I want to call Guest Services? That would be a complete waste of time. I don't understand that suggestion.
It's not wording that I "choose." An interview is something specific - and would usually entail multiple questions being asked and answered, and the person who is interviewed being identified. Nothing about the three-sentence blurb in the Sentinel indicates that there was an interview involved.
Their information sounds exactly like the information everybody else in the world has - every bit of hearsay and speculation says April 16. Every legitimate source (Disney web site, calendar or named authority) doesn't.

And come Easter Sunday the TT CMs should have their schedule for the following week. Scheduling should know now, cause they will have a great deal of CMs to be moving elsewhere.
