Potter Five to Hit Shelves This Summer

The wait is over - the fifth Harry Potter novel will hit bookshelves on June 21, and it will be a bumper volume. Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix will weigh in at an incredible 255,000 words, over 50,000 words longer than Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire. The fifth installment of the immensely popular series will be released simultaneously around the world. Nigel Newton, chief executive of Bloomsbury Publishing, says, " Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix is absolutely superb and will delight all J.K. Rowling's fans. Apparently they set another role. Timothy Spall will be playing Wormtail. He was with Tom Cruise in Vanilla Sky, his lawyer, apparently.

Another bit of news. David Thewlis has signed to be Professor Lupin, and Tom from the Leaky Cauldron will be played by Jim Tavaré.

Filming has started on "Prisoner", and an image was released. Also, apparently pre-order starts today for "Chamber" at the US. Seems this DVD will be better than the first one, with interviews with cast and crew and other juicy extras.

Michael Gambon is quite a well known actor over here. Not very 'mainstream' but I think he's done a lot of classical acting, etc.

I don't really see him as dumbledore, but I'm sure he'll do a very good job.
