Any adults ever "cry" when leaving Walt Disney World?

Our last trip (which was also our very first) in June 2008, there were many kids crying on the Magical Express on the way back to the airport.

My boyfriend (who was 30 at the time) shed a couple of tears on the bus as well.

Any other adults who experience sadness leaving WDW?

Yep, every single time.

At the end of our trip in 2009, I cried like a baby on Main St, when I realized that was the last time that trip I would be there. This past March, I did much better. Only got glazey eyed on the stupid bus(it isn't magical when it is taking you away!) back to the airport.

No tears but as I board the DME I always resolve to comeback and start saving as soon as I am home.

And no I don't cry when I get the credit card bill, but I know someone will say that they do.

i only die inside when i have to phone up my credit card company and beg for a limit extension so i can pay for excess baggage...

We thought we wouldn't be coming back for another 5 years. We usually go on an annual snowboarding every winter, but decided to go to WDW instead this December 2010.

Good idea on planning ahead for the next trip to alleviate the sadness! Our next trip we want to do the Food & Wine Festival 2012.

Always, without fail. This past visit we were taking one last ride on space mountain before rushing back to the resort to catch DME, and I cried through the the first half of the ride and I couldn't stop, until I started to get mad at myself for crying through our last ride, lol. The crying resumed in the post show, and continued as we exited the park. Once we were at the bus stop I was just depressed, but the crying resumed on the DME-yea I'm pathetic, lol. At least it wasn't that loud hiccup-y cry, it was more the silent uncontrollable stream of tears kind of cry. I finally cheered up when my fiancé offered to have our wedding at Disney.

I always tell myself I won't, and that it's inappropriate for a grown man to cry leaving Walt Disney World, it happens every single time without fail. I always turn and give the theme park (usually MK on that last day) one final look before I bid farewell, and that very moment gets me.

Yes, every time but my husband has to remind me that we will be back.

Tears... nah. But I've certainly been filled with sadness and dread of having to face to go home and face the reality of life.

There are a million things about WDW that can make me cry.

Leaving is just one of them.

Hell, I can cry just listening to the Illuminations soundtrack.

My kids think I'm nuts, but who cares? It's all good.

Yes, and I also get a pit in my stomach. I just got back a day ago and now I am missing being there like crazy! I keep telling myself I will be back before I know it.

Me too The MK is usually the last park I visit and I always say goodbye to the castle. I get all choked up on the bus to the airport during the entire video!

The first time I got to see Tink fly just before the fireworks...I broke down..then vowed I would be back! I sure I will lose it watching and filming my child next year.

I do this too- MK for last day as well. Sometimes it turns into a backwards walk just so I can see it until the last possible second.

I couldn't talk for about an hour or two on the final drive away after my College Program ended. I was tearing up and visibly upset. I imagine if we ever move away from Florida it will be a similar experience.

When my Walt Disney World trip ends and I'm heading for the airport, I always feel like I am leaving family who I won't be seeing for awhile. I guess because so many of the cast memebers always make you feel soooo welcome at all times.

I also think I embarrassed my boyfriend with how much I cried during Wishes on our first trip together :lol:

I cry when I arrive, I cry all the time when I'm there, and I cry like a baby when I leave.
