News Another Fight at Magic Kingdom

Who I feel bad for are the families and kids who were not involved but had to witness this poor behavior.
Same here. The kids (if old enough) will forever have this memory associated with their visit to Disney, which is supposed to be one of the most special times of their youth. Then you have the parents spending a fortune to create these memories for their children, and having this foolishness jump into it. Not saying it's a ruined vacation or as bad as what the children part of these families went through, but still not good.

this one appears to have been a rather large group, hopefully all were arrested, banned and serious charges.
Agreed. This was disgusting. Even if it weren't at Disney, this was horrible behavior. Their actions were extremely uncivilized. I feel bad for the children who had their families' last ever Disney trip cut short because their families don't know how to act in public. And this was all because a lady wanted to catch back up with her party. They should be ashamed. I'm sure none were, but they should be ashamed.

Exiting and re-entering queues for bathroom emergencies, especially with little ones involved, should be excused. Going back to retrieve a phone which could easily be stolen and re-entering the line is also excusable. Big difference between those instances and someone rudely holding a place for other family members to push in later. Two different ballparks, imo.
If there's a time I need to exit for a restroom, DH & DD usually just let people pass until I can get back to the spot. Most the time people haven't made an issue out of me rejoining. There was only one occasion for 7DMT a family wouldn't let me pass and called me a liar, so I stayed behind them until I caught back up 15 minutes later. Suddenly the family acted confused that people were waiting on me.

the irony is this attraction is the one with the least significance for the line in all of MK! You all crowd into the preshow all the same!
That's the part (alongside the one family waiting for the other at the exit) that I found to be crazy as well. You're essentially waiting for the next show to start. It doesn't matter at all where you are in line.

I don't begin to understand as everything is becoming crazier, less civilized, etc., why Disney doesn't have policemen on property.
The hospital I recently retired from went from security to policemen in the last several years. And they don't mess around.

As one poster on here said, it's going to be a baby in a stroller or an older guest who gets hurt and then they will get the pants sued off of them and a police force would be a lot cheaper.
Can you imagine that brawl breaking out in the human density of parade or fireworks time?! The ripple effect could be catastrophic.
And I could care less about "show", that train has left the station at Disney anyway.

Dear God, I know it would never happen for a multitude of reasons, but now I can't stop thinking of on-theme police now.

Bunch of sheriffs, knights, and space rangers running around.

Different historical soldiers in World Showcase. All trying to coordinate with each other because they're not allowed to leave their pavilions.

It would be a Monty Python skit

I hear Brendan Fraser is always looking for work. He can reprise his role as Dudley Do-Right for the Canada Pavilion, given Universal hands over the rights.
