The general consensus is that the overall theming is exquisite. FoP is generally being reviewed as the best ride in Orlando now. Although I still have it at a close number 2 behind Forbidden Journey.... Side note.... The green stuff covering all the rocks and stuff seemed to flake off by barely touching it. That will be interesting to see how they handle that going forward.
Thank you! I can't wait to ride it.

It will be difficult for it to supplant Kilimanjaro Safaris as my favorite attraction at DAK, but if it knocks Everest out of the #2 position, I'll be pleased.
I think it's safe to say it will. I love Everest but I think FoP was better. Give me a working Yeti and we might be talking a close call.

I waited 3 hours for Indy at DL when it first opened, totally worth it. The next day, I waited 3 hours to ride it again... still totally worth it. Now, 20+ years later, 45 min is about where I draw the line for Indy.

Is FOP worth 3 hour wait for first time?

thank you, I tried that via two different browsers and two different computers and still get nowhere even though I can get to the page.
Are you certain that your firewall/antivirus/network isnt blocking your access?
or perhaps are you using an anti adblock or other tool that might block ?

Even with a working yeti you have a mediocre coaster with great theming....
Mako is better than Everest:)

Haven't been there yet. Tomorrow are our time slots. However, I have already seen Na'vi ears and tails on people at AKL and in the parks. I can't believe people buy those but to each their own.

We're heading there Saturday. Unfortunately, my completely illogical fear of heights will keep me off of FoP. (I'm sure that there are cast members still passing around footage of my last attempt to ride Soarin'.. it wasn't pretty.)

I plan on refusing my FP for FoP... but will I still be able to tour the queue without one? I don't want to potentially deny someone else a FP when I have no intention of riding, but I also realize that this will be my last opportunity to tour the queue without spending hours for years to come.

You can go through the standby queue without issue. They are using the FP queue for riders right now, so standby will be empty.

What is your wait time looking like? Seems much improved from my wait on Saturday.

We were in the very first group to ride this morning. The only problem we had was in the decontamination room. The scientist said there was a problem and the screen went black for at least 5 minutes. It is not air conditioned. Other than that it was fine.

The second time through it went flawlessly.

I will be giving more detailed reports later this evening. We are going back tonight for the AP preview. Right now we have some rides in the rest of the park to do.
